I considered Eurotech but in the end went with the proven performance, name and history.

I have had the Euroteck's now for about a year. They look awesome and they perform GREAT.

I think the euroteks are zinc washed? My stop techs are not and are rusting where the pad does not touch the rotor. I should have had them zinc washed.

I weighed the slotted ones and it was about 30lbs savings. And the car felt better in the turns up in the hills and accelerating. They are awesome rotors and well worth the money. Theres a reason they use the Stoptechs on the new ACR.

And as far as question about power. I dont know how rotational mass translates into hp, but I know it makes a huge difference. I had posted a video. ILLSMOQ and I ran against eachother from a 3rd gear roll a week before and I got maybe a 1/2 -1 car on him. Then only change was my Stoptech rotors and we raced again. I put like 3-4 cars on him just from 3-4th gear. I had heard every 10lbs of unsprung weight is like a tenth in the quarter mile. It definatley makes a difference.

'By about'.. you mean EXACTLY 29 LBS ! Dont round up. Mike and I weighed them together on a digital scale, it came up solid 29 lbs saving.. on my car. Maybe drilling drops another 2 lbs... but I'd be suprised.

Yup, when you use performance pads and break them in properly (according to stop-techs site instructions) your rotors should have burned the paint off of the pads and your rotors should have a blue color to them. Then they're broken in properly. It's not the slow stops that color them, it's the many stops from 100mph that get them at optimium operating temp. I suspect this process temper both the pads and the rotors for a longer life. There's no door in those used rotors, they've been sitting for 4 months before the pic. They just look like any other used rotor.

They look like the Roe Racing 14" rotors I replaced them with (except no holes in my Roes).
