I go to show a friend my "america muscle car" and opened the trunk lid to show the battery in the rear. He was quick to point out asking "how come this piece [the truck latch] says "made in china"

really stupid on dodge to put that right at eye's level. But I said well they buy parts all over and build them here.

Wish they made that in USA at least.

No problem--just buy a Gen II--no "Made in China" stickers anywhere that I've seen!

Can you paint over it, tape over, or file it off if it bothers you? It's an unfortunate reality but I have accepted it.

I try not to buy anything made in China. Ive had it will their crap. Its hard these days though.
