For anyone coming in from the west that wants to hook up with us, some of us will be meeting at exit 188, I-40 at the Petro station at 6:30am Friday. We'll be leaving at 6:45.

Anyone in the Chattanooga area thats gonna be going up I-75 can contact 1TONY1. I think he's going up that way :headbang:

For those on the fence about coming, come on!!! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity....that you can only do once a year :D! 30+ Vipers in a tourist town like Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg...the "rockstar feeling" will be unreal when we show up side-by-side and 15 rows deep everywhere :headbang: Throw in the police escorts and this is easily the ONE event that you HAVE to do! That doesn't even include the Tail of the Dragon or other curvy mountain roads we'll be cruising on. Bring a digital camera with extra batteries and a big memory card! Trust me, it'll be full by the time you leave Sunday :2tu:

33 Vipers and their rescue wagon was the most popular vehicle there! I'm thinking one of the kids needs to drive it. Sale the drinks for $1 each and you'll cover your entire trip expenses! I call dibs on the selling sunblock business though :D

Hence, a different hotel to "try out":D. Do you know how far away from our hotel your cabin is? Make sure you get a copy of itinerary so you'll know when/where to be. :2tu:

I leave tomorrow afternoon for the Host Hotel (and maybe a Dragon Run if I can leave soon enough)!!! Im planning on breaking my land speed record this year from Cincinnati to Gatlinburg :D.

If anyone wants to do dinner Thursday night together let me know. Im on my own so I would rather eat with fellow Viper nuts than by myself!:2tu:

If I can get my wife to pick my son up from school then I should be on the road by 3:00. That gets me there around 6:30 or so. Should be plenty of light then. If I have to get my son then Im looking at getting there more like 7:30-8:00. Im hoping for sooner than later. How far is the Dragon off 75 or 40? I didn't pay much attention last year I just followed everyone.

Depends - we'll run the back way (heheh) so takes us about 55 min from I140/I40/75 intersection. How long for you to get to West Knoxville (exit 376 B)?

I don't know how many clubs post on the calendar, but at least the Z's are not scheduled to be there on the 29th (to get in the way):D Hopefully it won't be too crowded. Either way, it's gonna ROCK!

I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK YOU TO PICK OUT ALL OF THOSE EMOTICONS?? :smirk:

Anyway, for future reference, the pic takers which do it for a living consist in part of:
US129 Photos - Your Source for Photos from the world famous Tail of the Dragon
killboy.com photos - The Original Photographer from US129 Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap
Zee Foto, Deals Gap, North Carolina Photography and Photos, The Dragon, Nature, and Moto
MoonShinePhoto.Com -Photos on the dragon, Deal's Gap The Dragon, Dragons tail, 318 curves at Deal's Gap Tennessee

If we were to stage before Tabcat bridge, and go in one long line up to Deal's Gap, it would make for striking photos, guaranteed!

Just from the ones I know, we're up to 13 Vipers from GA. 10 on Fri. with everyone else, 1 coming up Fri. night, and 2 coming in on Saturday. I'm sure we'll have some unexpected ones show up, so I'm hoping for 15+ from GA!

I generally take 75s to 640 then to 40 and on to pigeon forge. Im thinking getting to Exit 376 from your map should be about the same time or sooner. :dunno:

You are right - SOONER! As long as we are to Tabcat bridge by 7:30ish, we'll be in super shape to run it two or three times (your choice). You have my cell phone...:omg:

You the cat with the guitar??

That's prob the last choice for me. Well, dancing last, guitar next to last. One of the alcoholic ones is a better guess :D I wish we had one of a smilie watching TV to represent how I was trying to watch C-Span last year and kept getting interrupted by the troublemakers and finally had to give up and go deal with them. Thats where the 3am walk to Hardees came in it

p.s.--I talked to Knoxville ******* yesterday and they will have us reserved parking like last year and can't wait to see us again :D
