Landed at Stretch's place on Thursday night. Took some sweet "loaded garage" pics. Should help with when he goes to sell his house.

It's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL drive through the mountains from Tellico Plains, TN to Robbinsville, NC. When Mike (one of our weekend guides) called over the radio to have a car go in front of him so he could get some good video, I volunteered. That was my first mistake of the weekend.
His GTR is designed, engineered, and built for these exact roads. In the video you'll see how bored he was following me as I white-knuckle the unfamiliar road.

SATURDAY
Before heading over to run the Tail Of The Dragon again, we did a cruise up to Clingman's Dome. Unfortunately, most of us got stuck behind a Honda CRV doing 17mph the WHOLE WAY up the road and though he saw all of us behind him, couldn't be bothered to pull off for 60 seconds at any of the TWENTY-TWO pull-over areas. He definitely did not have the Driver Mod.

At the top of Clingman's Dome, it was time for another re-grouping and taking in the excellent views of TN and NC:

The cruise back to Pigeon Forge was via the Foothills Parkway. Sorry no pics of that from me as I was seriously enjoying the view and the spirited driving at the end of the perfect day.

Video from the parade into Gatlinburg will be posted soon. I was the final car and so far the footage looks great!

Sunday was mellow as we stopped by the hotel to say goodbye to everyone and get on the road.
OF COURSE, Chad found the closest local ******* and said we had to stop there for lunch. I know- twist my arm....
I led Stretch, TOWDAWG, Mr. *******, and another GA member (I forgot his name....sorry) to Knoxville for some food.
After lunch, ALL of the waitresses said they'd LOVE to pose with the cars:

After the manager came out and yelled at us for emptying his restaurant of its waitstaff (LOL), Chad and the VCA-GA member set off for ATL, and Stretch and I cruised up I-75.
Along the way, a great looking AC Cobra rolled up an exit ramp to join us:

Ahhh...the patience of a Viper owner.
I have to edit out all the spots where the speedo and the speed limit are visible at the same time. LOL Posting that online would be bad.
And I have to speed up all the slow parts.....(i.e. following the yellow cars).

I do believe that this is the first photo documented evidence of a ******* girl posing by your car!

Very true.
It seems ******* girls are LESS AFRAID of the SRT-10 cars than they are of the SRT-10 trucks. And now we have the proof.

Looks like a blast, the Dragon is only about 3 hours away from me, but I've still yet to go. I'll have to just put my foot down one of the days (probably the right foot) and just go!

There's a website out there where the local photographer snaps shots of people as they go around one certain bend in the Dragon... anyone looked at it yet?
