Twister, I think there is really something to what u r saying there, b/c even though my peak rwhp is only 528, I SURGE past the competition in that 3000-5000 rpm range like I hit nitrous or as if I had a Paxton! Honestly its hard for me to believe my rwhp is 528! This must be how the Roe and TT and modded n/a motors have an advantage over a Paxton b/c of where and how the power kicks in. Although, if (when) I put a Paxon on I am sure the car will just be that much more insane.

MikeR and Illsmoq have convinced me! And seriously...after driving her today there is no way I am going to put a Twin Turbo and 1000 rwhp on this car. My heart was beating fast enough today w/ what I have! Since there are so many rumors that the Viper is going to be cancelled, I think I will buy another one and TT that one if I ever get that "dark side" bug.

Black Mamba, I actually took my SRT into Tators the week of xmas and picked it up the following week so I saw your car there.

The moment Chuck started it to move it, I was like WHOA, what's in that thing! LOL

I was headed back from CT on the Meritt Pkwy on Saturday and something passed me FAST going the other way and I heard that sound again! I looked in rearview and I saw that black trunk and top and said, that MUST be that car.

I called Chuck and he confirmed it.

Nice car and great build!

IF you ever get that Dark Side bug? I say you're already infected by it! I'm glad your build worked out for you, its a monster and sounds like you got what you wanted. Gotta love Tator and the boys. Looking forward to riding with you this summer, if I can keep up.

Thanks Mike and Julie, hey you guys gonna mod that Vette? My wife wanted a Z06 before I annihilated that one on Saturday. I told her his car was either stock or close to stock. She said she wants to write a complaint to GM b/c they dont make convertible Z06's! If they did, that would be killer!

LOL--no, no plans to modify the Vette, it's plenty good enough as it is...we got the exhaust package with it anyway, so it sounds BAD...not as BADASP as the Viper does (and in NO way compared to YOUR MONSTER!!!!)...so, no, if we do anything, we'll just add a different air filter...it's fine the way it is! And actually, I prefer the coupe over the vert, I have interchangeable tops, but to each their own, right?!! YOUR car is just AWESOME...no words can be put to it...

I actually LOVE Vettes, their look is awesome! My wife is very competitive, but, sadly to say, not the most coordinated woman in the world. I told her no matter what we buy her, until she learns how to shift properly she will be no match for an SRT. We are going to take some Viper driving lessons this year and hopefully she will be able to handle the monster hp Vettes and Vipers put out. I am considering getting her a Conv Vette and throwing a Lingenfelter blower on it....I just gotta make sure I have life insurance on her first!

Yep, that was me! I got into it w/ a maroon BMW M5 on the way back from Tators. He pulled up beside me and we were doing around 100 mph and he nailed it. I let him get about a car ahead of me then I nailed it, passed him instantly and I took it up to about 155 mph, just playing around. He was about 15 cars behind me when I got out of it completely. I dont get the BMW crowd...those M3's and M5's challenge me all the time, dont they read Road & Track?

LOL--WOW...a Lingenfelter Vette!!! THAT'd be something to have!! Crystal is awesome, and she's so lucky to have you in her corner, as I am with Mike! LOVE the paddle-shifting Vette myself...we get sick of shifting in so much traffic here...having the option to go automatic is good...then have fun again with the 6-speed paddle-shifting!!! Good for you teaching Crystal to drive shift, and I hope she can handle YOUR monster!!! You've got a BEAST there, no doubt!!! ENJOY, Keith and Crystal....hope to see you again this year~juli
