Personal musing.......reconsider turning back NOW!

When I began dispensing Viper-advice with the generous help of Team Viper / Dodge Marketing back in 93-1994, and on the Car and Driver site, and later on VCA at the invitation/persuasion of Jay Herbert & Doug Azzarito, I had no idea it would later motivate me to retire early from a 30+ year travel career. [Good timing, leaving THAT venue, eh?]

Turning your passion and hobby into your job should be its own reward. But it only works if you can make the Viper payment, mortgage, and buy some beans...... Thanks to you folks here, I am probably happier this year than I have been in 25+ years. Why else would I be hanging out here on Thanksgiving?! And I want to thank all of you for making it so. It actually feels like a fraternity situation, with friends I have yet to meet! A few of you faceless (for now) friends go back to the C+D site.

Special thanks to "LURKERS" who make contact privately. Last week a guy said he'd saved seventy-leven pages of my stuff over 2+ years, and bought his dream car with my 'hidden' help. Cool, eh?

I hope your own personal satisfaction exceeds mine, and you'll be one happy sled dog! Have a GREAT Thanksgiving.

And THANKS.......I mean it.

Jon B, Have a happy Thanksgiving, and I mean it! Don't know what a happy sled dog feels like, but I have had the good fortune to meet you at VOI-6. Remember, I was the "spinner" at Gateway on Saturday morning! Also wrote a poem about the Viper that you liked. Did you ever get to try that good old Cincinnati chili when you were there? Will be contacting you about parts soon, as my engine is at Arrow right now getting a good going over and massaging. Again, enjoy your holidays, and thanks for all the enlightenment you give on the Viper! We all learn something whenever you make comments about the Viper.

I can only repeat what many said above : Happy Thanksgiving JonB.

You were extremely helpful when I purchased my '98 Silver RT/10.

You traced the car through CAAP and confirmed when it was finally ready.I also keep a large file of extracts from your advice over the last 4 years.

I will contact you soon to ship a set of "special" Pilot Sport to Geneva.
