Throttle Bodies and T&D rockers

Ive seen much about these two upgrades. what I do not see is how they are beneficial by themselves. I can see how T&D's would be appropriate with, say, the roe SC and so on. also, dont upgraded TBs actually decrease torque? input here on these two topics as i am not a tech guru, just trying to learn here before i drop cash.

All I can contribute here may NOT help with your questions:
In my conversations with Sean Roe, the combined 70 TB's and the S/C will leave you with an ultra-sensitive pedal, i.e. you wind up with an on/off accelerator switch. Great for racing, arguably not so great for everyday street use. My .02

All I can add to the conversation is that my recent Venom 650R upgrade version JAN/02 utilizes the stock throttle bodies. HMS found no benefit in increasing the TB size and also indicated a loss of torque resulted. I would not spend the $'s unless adding a SC. T&D's definitely yes.

T&D rockers definitely offer an incrase in performance (wiht headers, exhaust, etc). I am unsure of the TB's though.

I had put a modified throttle body on my Ram truck and it greatly increased throttle response and added a decent increase in power to the top end. It's a bigger difference in sizes going from stock Viper throttle bodies to the 70 mm throttle bodies, but I bet that it still would be very streetable.

My bet is going to be tested in a few weeks because I already have the Sean Roe 70 mm upgrades in my garage waiting for his supercharger to be delivered. I will be posting a full report.
