There has been a lot of talks about it. After reading some of the history I went with the Royal Purple Syncromax. Not sure if I would do it again though. The oil is sooooo expensive and no I did not notice any difference in shifting at all. Afterwards I was actually told that Syncromax may not be the best thing for us, but the ROYAL PURPLE, 75W90, MAX-GEAR TRANSMISSION, 4 QTS.

Factory fill is Castrol Syntorq. Doubt you'll find anything better.
