trickle charger/batt tender

Hello all,

Had a trickle charger (you plug into the cigarette lighter) from a late 90's porsche), would this also work for GEN3 vipers? I figure it's probably the same as one you would buy from the store?

I use the "battery tender plus" on my car.

I use one that also is for a porsche, mine is a 996 turbo. Plug it into the console under your arm rest area as that one stays live. I alternate bt the pcar and viper. Works great and I don't have to fool around with the battery or other wires. Mine is a ctek unit.

I use the Battery Tender 800 unit. I just hook it up through the front grill onto the remote battery terminal for the red clip and the thermostat bolt for the black clip. Just raise the hood, unclip, and pull through the grill when you want to take her out. Just remember to do it before you pull out!

Yep, "Battery Tendor Junior", plugs into the armrest consol lighter of the Viper... worked this year like a champ - had one in my SRT8 also.

Thanks folks, i think my old cig lighter plug in from the porsche should be fine
