To me it just looks McWrong. Sorry.
The chrome isn't terrible, but I prefer the yellow.

In the end, it's your ride and if you don't want them reserving your spot at ******* anymore, well....that's your call. :D

I'm gonna keep the chrome for at least a couple months and see if the # of ******* girls phone #'s in my speeddial increases or decreases :D

Looks good either way. Always good to have options! I guess you could go with the chrome when you want to blend in (as in running really fast in a group of other red vipers after you've just been clocked by Macon's finest) and you can go with the yellow when you want to stand out in a crowd and be noticed (as in at a ******'s bikini contest). Variety is the spice of life!

I agree, the guy I got them from told me that the yellow is just over the top, which is what the Viper is all about, but the chrome is like dressing it up for a nice dinner. Nothing wrong with either. I may just buy some air tools, get good at swapping wheels and tell everyone I have 2 Vipers :D

When my flight instructor told me he was going to the flight school in Macon I told him to be on the lookout for a yelow and red Viper (he loves all Vipers)that really stands out. That being said ,my wife used to bleach her hair a different color and it was almost like having strange..anyway I understand.

Is your flight instructor still in town? If so, let me know and I'll PM you my cell ph. # to give him. I'll take him for a cruise around town if he wants a Viper ride.

Chad. The bottom line is that Red RT10's with chrome wheels are a dime a dozen. McViper Vipers are rare and quite distinctive. The chrome wheels do not go with the yellow badging on your car. In other words, they are an obvious after market change which breaks up the artistic integrity of your car. I vote to restore the McViper wheels. Ronald is watching you.

Yellow wheels gives the car some flavor!

With chrome it's like licking a spoon...

But what do I know, I have one of those highly desirable emerald pearl green Vipers and few agree with me.

Would these look good in chrome?

Drove the car for the 1st time tonight with the chromies. Kinda hard to argue with the results.

On the way home, cell phone rings. Local hottie says she wants to hang out this weekend. I can handle that.

Get home and get a text message from one of the Atlanta carshow models. She's going to be in town for the next couple days and wants to go out one night. I can handle that too.

So far, I think Mike is right. Chicks dig chrome :D

How about trying to find a set of the five spoke gold wheels from the 1997 model year? I think those look amazing on the red Viper RT/10.

I've seen them before and ehhhh, honestly I prefer my yellow ones over the gold.

chad i'm happy the magic of bling-bling is already working

The local girl knows I put new wheels on, but has no idea what they look like. The Atlanta girl doesn't even know I'm now yellow-less. So technically, I should be taking all the credit myself, but being the nice guy I am, I'll give the wheels the credit instead :D

McFINALLY Chad, the chrome wheels look great, never cared much for the yellow but it's unique in it's own way, different strokes for different folks. I'm sure the chrome will pull more girls:2tu:! We'll be expecting pictures :drive:
