I can't tell you for sure what is being offered up by SRT / Dodge since they are currently working on their 2012 calendar, but I can tell you that the cars you mentioned were discussed (and yes, I asked the same question about the "ring" cars being sold, so their availability is not known). Our discussion with Carlisle Events and SRT will continue and the line up of cars and activities will not be complete until after the first of the year based on availability of vehicles and space. Both SRT and Carlisle Events are very motivated to help us make this a memorable event!

I had the opportunity to meet with some folks from SRT to discuss Carlisle, the next step is to have a conf call with SRT and Carlisle Events to establish how much space will be allocated and what all will be brought to fill that space....I know we will not be disappointed!!!

I've had both the Superbee and Viper registered since last summer. Plans for this year are: Bee on Thursday preshow, Bee Friday, Viper Saturday.

Thought I'd bump this up since we're getting closer. Carmen, any update on what SRT's plans are? I know they're pushing Carlisle heavily over on Facebook.

I have learned that Dale from Xcelleratted will not have his dyno at the show this year (or any of the Carlisle shows). We know Dale through our truck club from way back. He claims "lack of business", but I think there's politics afoot. At any rate, if any of you were planning on dynoing your cars, sorry that won't happen.

Chrysler is apparently having several new cars there again this year. If the new Viper can make an appearance at Moparpalooza, I'm certain it will be on display, wouldn't it? I'll be out there by mid-morning on Thursday 7-5, so I'll report in when I get back from the Mopar Rebellion pre-show Thursday evening.

I have never made it to Carlisle before and I am definitely going to try this year. Can I just come on Sunday? Where do most members stay if they are going for the weekend?
Thanks

Ramada may be sold out - try the Holiday Inn at 2055 Technology Parkway Mechanicsburg. MoparBoy claims a Viper-friendly lot.

There is two entrances to the Holiday inn. One I could not get a Jeep rubicon in without issues. :rolaugh:

The other I don't remember anything odd as I got my car in and out (granted it was two years ago since last there) but if there was some form of issue, it would have mentally been pegged as a issue hotel. And I also remember other vipers there in the past.

Also, I found when leaving they also have underground parking. Not sure if it's supervised or not but would be worth asking about.

Thanks guys. Is there anything special going on at night or does everyone pretty much go their own way.

Large group diner Friday night for anyone in town, "meeting" Saturday night, check with swexlin about a Thursday night pre-meet with a bunch of other car clubs - he's a Mopar truck guy, has lots of friends there. Everyone's usually gone by Sunday night.

Mopar Rebellion pre-show on Thursday is from 4pm - whenever just up Route 11 at Cumberland Valley Motors...it's a pretty big show unto itself. What Diane said is correct, Friday and Saturday nights, people meet up and have dinner, etc. Pretty informal.
