Ya know - I am going to get bashed for this, but we went to VOI5 in Vegas. And while the event was great, Vegas added little to the experience. here's why:

1. Where else can 600 Vipers roll into town and raise nary an eyebrow.
2. The hotel was TOO BIG - you walked forever and there were 5 or 6 other groups there just as big as us, so we weren't bumping into viper folks all the time. We were kinda lost in the shuffle.
3. With all the scheduled events, it's not like there is any time for gambling, etc. Vegas was just a backdrop.

I have nothing against the geographic location, but just don't think Vegas adds that much to the VOI experience, in fact, I would almost say it detracted from it.
