Even if it is a rental car, how bad is that really. I know (if it is rental) that the renters would obviously get on it, but is that any worse then the occasional drag race? I think, in las vegas at least, that most renters probably just cruized the strip with an occasional blast of power.

Wouldn't have wanted the basket case I picked up for the day in Vegas. It was baffed before I stepped in, having searched this site for months before hand on what to look for I knew some specifics and this thing failed them all, not that I was in the market to buy it.

If your looking for a cheap clapped out Viper and don't mind wrenching the thing back to shape it wouldn't be a bad idea. Just keep in mind Viper pricing, sidesills $2500, hood for 10K, tires over a K, it just doesn't stop.
