It WAS. Then Daimler stole what they had developed for the Viper and created the SLS Mercedes. The new Viper was created long after Daimler left the picture.

I quite dig the rear view (although maserati/audi rear light group...) but the front looks too busy and unorganized and soft... disconnected from the rest.... Anyway, can't wait for the real deal...

Well in that case I am extremely happy they stole what they had developed and the new Viper wont look anything like the SLS
