Always hear about these "Killer" deals, but when you check them out there is usually a story. Flood, collision, lemon...always some thing. If Previously registered this owner will be taking a huge bath. Taxes registration, insurance, etc.
I'm with SRTRICKEY. Just posing this, without pertinent details, just serves to lessen the value of all our cars. Don't know why some one would do this.

Who cares what its selling for today. It only matters what you paid for it when you bought it, at market, not a year later when the new model year is upon us with the new coupe. Of course prices are going to gradually spike downward.

I paid $75,000.00 in 04/2005 for an $85,300 car, I was extremely happy with the deal then and I still am today.

I didn't buy the car for an investment, I bought it for what it is, a very unique, incredible fun riding (man) toy, with an awesome and exotic look to it, that drives and brakes incredibly, and has the power to go with it, it relaxes the mind and senses every time I take it out for a drive. I can't put a price on that, neither should you. Enjoy it, and remember, there aren't too many people who can say they own a Viper.

I agree with you 100%. Although F355 may have had good intentions, please perform your due diligence (inspection, or at minimum: a Carfax) on the car before posting this type of information.

There was a post from a dealer on this forum that offered two NEW '05 SRT-10's for $67,000 and a few new '04s for $71,000. So $65,000 for a used one '05 is not unbelievable. The higher price for the '04s were apparently driven from incentives on '05s from Dodge.

Your kidding right???? All he did was run across what looks like a good buy on a SRT 10, post it so someone on here might get a sweet deal and you guys think he should "perform due diligence with an inspection or carfax before he posts it???????????? He don't work for you nor is it his responsibility to check the car out. If your in the market to buy then it's up to you to do your "due diligence" and make sure of what your buying. :smirk:
How does it lessen the value of "all our cars"?? He's not the one selling it for that price. Whoever is selling it is the one who is lowering the value. You actually buy these cars thinking that they will appreciate???? Maybe it's not worth anymore than that with the new coupe out now!!

AND THAT ONE IS NO STORY... So I guess I lowered the Value of the SRT-10s's when I bought my pops that one NEW '05 SRT-10's for $67,000 from "dealer" (HENDRICK DODGE). Because that one WAS true and I WAS the person to do it. I think what F355 is doing here is perfectly ok, and creates value for Gen 2 guys or anyone really, looking to step into a Gen 3. Most "deals" on vipers are BS, but some are good, and some are really good. I totally believe a used one with 300 miles could go for 65,000....

Please note, im not hating, or being a **** on this one, just giving my perspective, I am part of the Gen 3 purchasing family.

You guys are idiots. F355 was posting it as a service to anyone looking for a SRT not to devaluate your car. And if you think that a car that is selling cheap by a dealer blowing out of it will change the whole market place then you are a bigger idiot .We are a club we should be letting guys know of good deals.

Also, I emailed the top car adn go this as a reponse:

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing my car.
I have worked in USA for the past 6 months and I
purchased the car there.
My company wanted me back home, so currently I'm in
UK.
I didn't bring it home with me because the car's
steering wheel is on the left side, and so it's
difficult driving it around the UK.
The vehicle is in good condition, has no technical
damage at all, no scratches or dents, no hidden
defects, no smoking, remaining warranty available.
It's fun and robust to drive. Technical inspection and
emissions testing is passed and stamped as well.
The title is clear and comes with all the documents
you need to register it.
The car is now located at the AutoTrader.com dealer in
Denver, Colorado.
The car will be shipped for inspection to your
location.
You will not have to pay additional taxes for this and
after inspection the purchase is not compulsory.
Please send me your full name and shipping address.
They will contact you with all the information you
need.
Thanks for your interest, please feel free to email me
any questions or concerns you may have.

Now to address the negativity. I posted this for someone who might be interested in the car not to start a war!!!! If you are mad that these SRT-10's are cheap, then do not buy one. A new 2005 can be had for $68,000 - $72,000 depending where you are. This one just happens to be the lowest priced one I have ever seen but then again winter is coming. I keep hearing people say things like, "Why talk about low priced SRT's" or "You are just a hater." I am just stating the facts. Yes, the SRT's did not do that well selling, so what does that have to do with anyone that states a good deal? It is not our fault! When I bought my car, I searched for a deal and got a great one on a brand new car. Does that mean my car was a lemon or had problems? NO! Because I bought it on eBay, does that mean it was fake or misrepresented? NO! Let's just let the potential buyers, enjoy and leave them alone.

End of story :2tu:

It's an EBAY auction with over two days to go and the current bid is $65,000. In no way does that mean this is a great deal at that price, it could end up no where or to the moon. What it is, is a great lead to an auction, and in no way values the year Viper mentioned.

The odds of that car going for MSRP or near are VERY slim. We will watch and see.

Please to GOD tell me you didnt mean to quote me? You meant to just quote the other guy who really did call those people idiots, right? !!

My post is telling him that calling people idiots (unless they are friends), probably isnt the greatest idea.

The 3 I called idiots (as a joke) happen to be 3 of my favorite people on this forum and in this club, and 3 guys I have tons of respect for. Maybe you dont know me, the harassing we all do to each other or the guys I speak of, but I would call them all idiots to their faces, and would be more then ok and even laugh, if they called me one to mine, I consider all 3 of them friends... Now enough being serious with this koom-by-ya-$hit, Mike, Ab and Chad, you are all idiots...

-Love
