Why didn\'t Dodge make a White GTS? (pic)

Just playing around with Photoshop and thought I would see how a White/Black striped GTS would look. I for one think it looks awesome. But I also think that the only truly striking SRT/10 I have seen is the Mamba so I might be a little biased. What do YOU think?

The one hundred GTS-Rs(1998) were white....I think there was a problem with the white yellowing and in 1996 there were white RTs...I am sure some of the experts in colors will make some more informative posts. Bob

Don't forget the 4 original 1996 white/blue-stripe GTS Vipers for 4 executives.

There were only 3 made. One of them belongs to a friend we see every year at club events. He is a DC engineer and the original owner. It was he who was behind these being made at all. Another Team Viper story from the original team.

I know about all the white/blue GTS's and RT's, I just thought that the black stripes looked killer too. I would love to see one of the 3 executive cars in person, I am sure they are quite stunning.

Check out the thread entitled "2004 CEMA Show" posted last Saturday. There you will see the white GTS with blue stripes that belongs to the DC engineer. It's really sweet.

ViperGuyNick: Car would/does look great ! And you are very good with Photoshop, Adobe would be proud and so should the boys at DC. Every year there are to few colors offered.

Yeah, I like that color combo. Wasn't this a factory color for a very limited set of cars? NOT the GT2's.

Firewater, That is one of the 3 White/Blue stripe '96 GTS's that were the first to roll off the assembly line and were given to 3 Chrysler Executives, they were the only GTS's offered in this color, besides the GT2

No. That combo was never outside the GT-2 for customers. Never seen that before.

BULLSHI! that is NOT Photo Shop.

He went out with a spray can and painted a GTS.

thanks for the compliments all. If you check out my post about the NEVCA Chuck Tators tech session you will see that the car that is in the picture is a bumblebee car. The sidepipes do look awesome on it and sound even better. All I did was made a selection of the entire car and pasted it onto a new layer on top of the origional and then went into the menu "image>adjustments>Hue and Saturation. After that I selected yellows from the drop down box and desaturated it and slid the lightness all the way to light. That's all! You too can create your own color combo!
