How are you guys getting/ordering these throttle bodies.
You can't order thru the website.
Are these the same as the ones from ROE RACING?
Anyone have one for sale.
I PM'd Gary but no reply yet.

Thanks.

Phone # for Gary's Superbike shop. 812-477-1740. Should be the same as X-Metal. Give him a call.

No - Not the same a Roe's TB.

I would get additional feedback regarding doing any throttle body. I have the XMetal and while it looks good and MAY give some additional throttle response, there are issues including idle hang and how it works with the TPS. My issue seems to be low speed bucking that comes and goes.

I left a message for XMetal and also got ZERO response.

X-metal is single blade. The picture on Roe's website shows single blade as well - don't know if it'sa the same. Some vendors has the dual blade throttle bodies also. I'm considering to install the throttle body too - either x-metal or some other vendor's. There has been multiple threads about idle hang too and does it really give any extra ponies or not. Would like to hear some more feedback.

....and not intention to hijack Demoes4x thread, but if there are any Throttle bodies sitting around after his need has been fulfilled, shoot me a PM.

I know there was a group buy of over 40 or so people here, maybe some will chime in and share their thoughts on it.

I have no problem with mine. Do follow the instructions to the letter, especially the part about aligning the blades with paper. It may hang until fully broken in - about 300 miles (blade seating in the bores).

Mine still hangs for a few seconds & I have over a 1000 miles on it. I wish I had the original cleaned up instead. I ended up taking it off. For the $300 plus I paid for the Xmetal, i do not think I would do it again.
