    Although all our cars have RPM limiters to protect over revving, there is NO protection from downshifting and over revving. This takes practice. This will destroy your engine as fast or faster than oil problems. Be careful out there, John

    Well, after owning a gen one, dummy me thought the battery was still under my 06 coupe. SURPRISE, after removing left rear wheel, inner fender panel, HEY----no battery, just some evap parts. I could see it but, no way would it have an interior panel to remove--NO WAY. Replacing this battery...

    Twister, from my experience with new drivers, my suggestion would be to buy your daughter a large, slow, safe car for the 1st one. Not to wish any bad luck, but new drivers tend to dent em up. Insurance will be cheaper too.

    Billion dollar and all others--a while back there was a suggestion about where to store your viper keys in the house. If there is a break in and your Viper keys are visible. All they would need to do is hit the garage opener and away they go! I hide mine in a separate place from my other keys...

    Welcome Homie, I too believe the GTS's are sexier even though I have a 2006 SRT coupe. The lines are curvier. My old 95 yellow gen 1 got more attention. maybe because people could see me better and assumed I was a movie star or something.
