Just to add my 2 cents, when I got my car (1994 gen 1) approximately 3 years ago being the curious individual I am, I reached down and tried to turn the bolt by hand and was amazed that it was easy to turn. I assumed as many others that the crank had a key for the pulley so I simply tightened it...
Re: California...who\'s GTS is this?
That is the one I was thinking about. I was at the Deer Park event and saw it in person. My overall impression was that the cage was the very best I've seen with perhaps the exception of Jerry Mahl's K&N viper. I'm not sure of the guy's name but the...

Curious about the sales pitch.

Never been tracked and nitrous ONLY used for dyno purposes?
Hi Bob thanks for the reply. At least I don't feel quite so bad now, since I'm not the only one having difficulties with the RPM. I thought from your previous post that you had the RPM's nailed down and working exactly as displayed on your tach.
I have tried both the cam sensor and the tach...
Picking up the tach signal is not difficult at all. The problem is the rpm does not indicate correctly. I calibrate the LM-1 with the audio signal from my laptop per the instructions. When I connect the tach signal the RPM is no where near accurate. For instance at idle my tach shows appx 600...
Hey Bob, question about your use of the cam shaft position sensor signal for RPM input to the LM-1. I'm trying to use the same and my RPM is comming in exactly twice what it should be. I tried programming the RPM-converter to 2 pulses per rotation but same results. I called innovate and all they...
Must be so they can buy a nice vaccum cleaner for when the next guy has that problem.
I gotta think that is all that it needs unless the lil' varmints chewed threw a couple of injector wires.
Open Class "Road Coarse", is that anything like a "Road Course"?
Car and Driver, is this a magazine?
Too bad they don't have spell check for a white board, oh never mind, it wouldn't work either.
Wow, I thought someone would say "congrats Bob, awesome job".
Well let me say it then, for those that have not run the 1 mile drag it takes a some nerve to stay in it for that long. It is one thing to goose it up to 150 and then back off cause "that's fast enough," but to stay in it all the...
You can use an ohm meter with a real sharp probe that puts a very tiny hole in the insulation. Once the probe is removed you can't even see the hole.
In my opinion and experience you'll be very lucky to find a break in a wire that the insulation is still intact on. I'd say your odds are better...
I've used it for a little over a year now. I'm no expert but I can't say I've noticed any corrosion. Just had my heads off and didn't notice any thing out of the ordinary, related to corrosion at least. My only delima was when I went to Vegas in the winter and even to Willow Springs in January...
You've got mail, on the board here.
I run a 90/10 mixture as recommended on the bottle and that seems to work fine. I think if you go less the law of diminishing returns may come into play. Less heat buildup but less protection also. If my memory serves me it takes just a tad over one quart to...
If you feel like bothering to ship it I'll take a couple of quarts off your hands. I'll spring for the shipping costs of course. Quote me a price when you're able to.
