    Prices on Ebay and autotrader are well above 45k for about EVERY VIPER that doesn't have a salvage title. Your more than likely going to have to wait til winter until you will start seeing any 2003+ Vipers for 40k or less. You may eventually find a 2003 or a high mileage 2004 for about 40k...

    That is 100% true for Brailles basic battery line. Except Deka doesn't offer the Lithium Racing Batteries which are the best or well at least the most expensive batteries money can buy, but for 2,500.00 a battery.... :crazy2: I'll stick with the cheap ones anyway. *I'm no battery expert so...

    Console cover.

    Painting it yourself is VERY easy. Take your time do a thin coat at a time and it will come out perfect. Or you can buy it painted from a vendor. Mines starting to peel as well, but I'm having a double din Nav unit put in soon so the counsels getting painted and fiberglassed soon anyway...

    My 04 gets a vibration thru the steering wheel when the fan kicks in when it gets warm. I believe a slight vibration is normal, but if it gets excessive it may be the fan being bad or damaged. Sadly the Gen III fan is Twice as expensive as the GEN IV fans.

    A new short block is around 5800.00 NEW.... long as your heads are good. BUT its supercharged motor.. get the bottom end build to handle boost or you may be in the same boat again.

    It may be possible to fine one under 40k, but you going to pay even MORE to fix it up and it isn't going to be low mileage. Ones with Salavage titles are under 40k. I've seen a totaled Viper selling for parts go for 30K.

    are vipers rare?

    Usually about 4-5 Vipers on Salavage titles on EBAY at any given time. The number of totaled Vipers compared to the number made has to be pretty high. An ameatur driver behind the wheel of a Viper is a bad combo.
