New to the forum and need your help!! Is this damage common?

Sorry but if you have a 96 GTS and it doesn't have the rivets on the side sills then they've been filled, repaired or already replaced under warranty from someone else. My neighbor has a unmolested 1996 GTS with only 12k miles on it and it has the rivets. We've had this conversation several...

Swapped out my motor and tranny mounts. Got a nasty surprise

I had the same surprise when I pulled my motor. Luckily the stock mounts have those interlocking metal tangs because that was the only thing holding the mounts together

New to the forum and need your help!! Is this damage common?

That's common. The side sills are known for that. If you'll notice the corrosion is around the rivets. The rivets is what holds the heat shields inside. I had it on my 96. Not a big deal for most body shops to fix. Don't expect to replace as the side sills list for around 5k for each side...

    Dyno Nitrous Results...very disappointed

With a big shot I think 100% at low RPM's (3000rpm) could mean disaster. That's the whole point of having a progressive controller. Bring it on in proportion to the power (rpm) range.

    Dyno Nitrous Results...very disappointed

I was just making an example. That's close to my tune for the street. You can also say Progresssive controllers are NOS for dummies. A progressive controller will shut off my NOS if I miss a shift. I don't want it on 100% before let's say 3000rpm. If you flow a Big shot of NOS at a low rpm you...

    Dyno Nitrous Results...very disappointed

    I mocked up on my FJO program to the numbers you gave and I got the following Your settings RPM Trigger = 2600 RPM End = 5700 RPM Cutoff =5750 Here are the results 2600=30% 2763=34% 2926=37% 3089=41% 3253=45% 3416=48% 3579=52% 3742=58% 3908=59% 4068=62% 4232=67% 4395=71% 4558=74%...

    Dyno Nitrous Results...very disappointed

If you have the RPM end @5700 it is not at 100% @ 3089. I had this same problem with mine in the beginning. Change your RPM End to something like 4200 and you will notice the graph will not change. Just the bar. your NOS will then be 100% at 4200 up to 5750

    Dyno Nitrous Results...very disappointed

Got a question about your settings with the FJO Are you "RPM Based"? (next to type) there is a option to be 'Timed- Based" You should use "RPM Based" if you are you will see three rpm window settings RPM trigger , RPM end and RPM cutoff The trigger is obvious but the "RPM end" can be...

    1996 RT/10 Muffler question

Cheapest and best way is to keep your exhaust in tack and change the cats. You'll gain sound and some extra HP along the way. You can go catless too but that depends on your local laws and personal choice. Not to mention you'll get an extra bonus "Much reduced heat coming from your side sills"...

    NOS anyone?

Autotap not working & Nitrous problems...Getting Frustrated

I forgot to mention the best accessory you can have when running NOS is a gauge. You've got to know what you have at all times (pressure).

Autotap not working & Nitrous problems...Getting Frustrated

Once you get the FJO problem ironed out you'll love what the unit can do for you. And if you want to see my resume on NOS wiring you should see my Dual Heater/Dual openers and purge pendant. The folowing pic has over 200 feet of wiring in it just for the bottles. Here's a the finish...

Autotap not working & Nitrous problems...Getting Frustrated

It's basically a piggyback. The front fuse will continue to fuse your existing accessory (whatever that is) and the back fuse will give power to the wire lead. As far as being "Hot" when the key is on just take a test light and pick a fuse in the panel (I would pick a 10amp up to a 20amp)...

Autotap not working & Nitrous problems...Getting Frustrated

These work nice and you don't have to tap into anything. You should be able to find it at your local auto parts store. They also should have then for both fuse types.

Autotap not working & Nitrous problems...Getting Frustrated

Mike Are you sure you tapped into the right wire coming off of your TPS. It has three. One is a ground One is 5v power supply One is for signal. Not knowing what color your wires are for your year of car I'm guessing you could have tapped into the 5v power supply and not the signal...

Autotap not working & Nitrous problems...Getting Frustrated

You didn't say what shot you had in it but it will flood your car especially if you only let the fuel solenoids come on. You can test the FJO with the car not running. I run the FJO and have no problems with it. I wouldn't use anything else. So I'm going to go thru a few things you said. You...

    RT/10 owners with nitrous...HELP!

You'll also benefit from a remote gage like below (Raptor shift light is nice too) I never look at the tach..... I have to concentrate on the road too much now! :burnout: You got to know what you're pressure is too. I don't spray if it's below 850psi. NOS works the best between 950 -...
