Yes, I meant ATE.
Sorry, can you elaborate what's a DRBIII. I was thinking to use the "turkey bustard" technic to change the fluid in the clutch not the whole flush. But since I also noted in my original post that I will also be doing brake fluid change I am confused now if you ment DRBIII...
How much UD cost and how hard is it to install? Mechanic job or can it be done in the garage with instructions? If mechanic needs to install it what will be the total package UD plus install cost? Trying to figure out if additional 5Hp increase worth the money and effort?
Well, basically title says its all. I will be changing my fluids soon and clutch fluid is on the list. I am thinking of ordering ATF super blue for my brake system and I was wondering if I can use the same Super Blue for the clutch?
Thanks.
I will be swapping my calipers for the Yellow powder coated.
I recently changed my rotors and brakes and it wasn't hard to do what about changing calipers? Besides the same process that requires to change rotors/brakes what other additional steps would require to change calipers?
I take it I...
When will it be coming out of hibernation? Please give me more info. Any details you have on the install process? What about your bezel, did you have to order any special parts or pieces?
Thanks.
I was thinking about the same thing, did lots of research on this forum. After much of research and thinking I lean towards the Pioneer AVIC F900BT. This unit has every possible input, has a great GPS and I found it in the local Bay Area stereo shop for $850 installed. I hope to do the install...
Actually the spoiler looks like this one on PartsRack site:
PartsRack.com
At first when I bought the car I wanted to remove the spoiler too, but it kind of grew on me :dunno:
I got my car already with the hoop spoiler on it, hence, I don't know who makes it or who sold it to the previous owner. The spoiler have a crack through out its whole length. I was thinking of replacing it, but the only vendor I found who sells it is JonB and he says these hoop spoilers...
Jeff, what color did R&J powder coated your RT/10 calipers? Did you race your car with the R&J powder coated calipers? Noticed any discoloration at all?
Thanks.
I don't see SRT10 calipers on their site? I take it that they require core exchange of your calipers? If that is the case than it seems that they are almost twice as expensive for the same set of calipers than the powdercoated which R&J offers. R&J quoted me front and back brake calipers...
Found these guys R&J Distributing | Welcome To R&J's VIPER World they are powder coat stock calipers into any color you want. I want mine in yellow. However, I was told that yellow have a tendency of discoloration due to the high heat that calipers generate.
What do you think? Anyone else...
Hey guys, I have extended MaxCare warranty good until 2012. At the same time I am itchy to get more HP in my car. I already have Corsa Track with high flow cats, K&N Intake and PC tuning from DC performance. Nevertheless, I want to be on par with the Gen4 or even better, so I don't have to be...
Hm building bottom end? What about simple change of heads and cams? Any idea what HP would that give me on the existing high flow cats, Corsa and tune?
My goal is to have least possible amount of modifications to the engine (well relatively speaking :)). Ease of install and price another two...
I already have Corsa track with with high flow cats and I have ECS tuner from DC performance, which I believe can be re-tuned to accept new heads/cams set up.
What kind of HP numbers will the car gain with the Striker's package of heads/cams considering that I already have exhaust and tuning?
Anyone has a Striker or any other head and cam package installed in the Gen3? If so what HP gain you have from the package and how much part and labor was it?
Thanks.
Well, the topic says it all. I am looking for the good body shop to take my car for some mechanical and body work including painting. I live in San Bruno, hence, it would be great to hear of a good body shop in the Peninsula area that way I can stop by from time to time at the shop and check on...
Body shop guy will be comming tomorrow to take a look at the car, I really doubth that there is any frame damage, but will never know until we put the car on the lift.
Yep, I will call Jon on Tuesday. I know Jon, I ordered my new beautifully mastered forgeline wheels from him. And this crap happened the same day I put my new wheels on what a moron I am.
Hopefully I will talk into a few body shop guys look at the car tomorrow at my house since car is not...
