Gus, thanks for having such a great event year after year, I would encourage everyone who has never attended this event, to come out and have a great time with other VCA members.......Count me in for 2 tickets.
Treesnake, thanks for the pictures of the 08 hood. I just ordered my 08 hood from Mike @ xvipers also. I can't wait to get it painted and installed. Your car is "awesome"!!!
Chuck, I haven't known you that long but I do know that the "Fruit doesn't fall far from the tree", so I'm sure that I can say that your father had to be a great and caring man such as yourself. I'm sorry for your loss, my family will be praying for your family.........God Bless!!!!
DII, I'm finally glad to see that someone other than myself got the 20/20 package. I have the same package on my 04 Mamba(White) w/ Motons and I'm very happy for you.....Enjoy!!!!
JeremyS, since you live in Md., I would call "Ye Ole Wheel Shop" (6363 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Md.). They are amazing at straighting out bent or curb wheels. They will hook you up!!!
Re: CCW SP18 wheels installed, my H-wheels for sale.
The car looks great, now you just need to lower the car(KW's or Motons) for that knockout effect!!!
1MEANSNAKE, glad to see that you are still around!!! Did they give you a ticket or did you tell them that you just finished washing the car and forgot to put the tag back on? It works sometimes!!!!!!
1fastviper, definitely go with a chrome finish. The chrome finish is brighter and it is easier to clean than polish. I would talk to John at :calchrome.com
PJJP, I know that it sounds funny when you hear P285/30/20's on the front of your car, but, trust me when I say that it will not look funny with the Pirelli tires. It's going to look just like the red srt-10 in the picture. My Iforged wheels don't stick out beyond the wheel well.
PJJP, I have 20 inch Iforged Daytona wheels on my srt-10 all the way around. I love the Pirelli P-Zero's. I have P285/30/20's on the front and P345/25/20's on the rear. My car has the moton suspension and my car is lowered about 1.75 inches. I have no rubbing issues as I'm sure that you will...
I agree with "Fast Too". Third gear is completely awesome on the paxton. Whatever you do, don't let a friend drive your car and keep the viper pointed in a straight direction when you really get into it.....TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!
Vincy, we lost one of the best tuners, Jason Heffner(Heffners Performance) a few years back. He is now a "BIG ASSET" to the State of Florida. I've also heard that Keene Dodge does good work.
Vincy, let me be the first Va/Md club member to officially welcome you to the best car club in the U.S.A!!!!!Reading your post kind of reminds me when I first bought my 94 viper rt/10. I too was a vette lover having owned 4 different vettes( c3,c4,c4,c5). Like you, I was use to tracking control...
deam, I think that you may have misunderstood his question. I don't think a gen 1 or 2 wheel will fit on a gen 3 car because of the larger brakes and rotors, however, deam is absolutely right when he says that the gen 3 wheels will fit both a gen 1 &2.
kman, your car looks great.......yes, the rust will disappear off the rotors once you start driving the car. Great choice of wheel and car would look better if it were lowered(IMHO).
