Re: Holy cow, I\'m a new viper owner!
Jeez, you got a Viper and you're a tornado tracker. I wouldn't mind having your life. haha Congrats on your new addition!
Intrerior looks salvageable. Anyone want new seat, you could possibly part out the rest.Only thing would be could you make profit from what you paid for it. I don't think this thing is worth two working, perfect Kia Rios. Anyone else's opinion?
Also, can you tell how much profit is going to you, the VCA, sponsors, etc.? I personally don't mind if a lot of profit is going to you, since you put the whole mess together.
I just have to balance my check book and re-evaluate my dollar standings.
Also, we're #7 on the list for hot convertibles. http://autos.yahoo.com/hot/convertibles.html
Below two 350Zs and two 360 Modenas? Give me a break. 5th two weeks ago. Didn't place week before that, and then 4th the week before the non-placement.
They are a bunch of Yahoos. Are they saying...
From Yahoo cars:

The 2003 Viper is a 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in one trim only, the SRT-10. The 2003 Viper's closest competitors include the BMW M3, the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, and the Volvo C70.

A Viper friend tuned his VEC2 at Passen Motorsports. It's in Columbus, and relatively close to Norwalk (45 mins maybe). Try there. With all the free publicity of a few Vipers, you may be able to get a discount, or work a deal.
If you're trying to bash on Lee, he would rather have not gone to the HS with the Viper. But his wife got stuck at the office, Lee brought the Viper to work, and had to go pick his daughter up.
I remember when Lee brought his Viper to our HS to pick up his daughter/my g/f. I grabbed a couple close friends to let them look at it quickly. Next day, one of the car guys I was familiar with asked if those were 20"s on the '00 Viper. I told him those were the stock 18"s, he half didn't...
I'm trying to find out the stock width of the racing stripes available on the GTS and ACR (I know they're the same). If anyone just has a rough estimate, I don't need 'exact' measurements. Thanks
I tried using the search tool, but it didn't get me anywhere fast enough.

Re:
Mopar, those things are ugly. I would never consider putting those on a car. The ones on the SRT would have to be 10 levels above those in your pics to be put on a Viper. I just think if they're done right, they'd look good.
P.S.- I don't know who those two guys are (I recognize that...
Re: August ? Pocono?
Whoops, thanks for enlightening me, Greg. If you wondered why I thought Courtney was male is because my last friend with the name Courtney is male. I just thought with most racers being men, nothing sexist meant by it.
Please forgive me Courtney.
Re: August ? Pocono?
Kurt, if this is a Viper Days event, e-mail Courtney Thomas (CT on this board) at [email protected]. Let him know I recommended him to you (my name is Sean Walsh). Good luck!
It rains on most afternoons in Columbus. We haven't gotten rain here in the past 4 days or so, and it's been in high 80s, low 90s (I love it that way, being from Maryland and Myrtle Beach), knock on wood.
That's pretty bad when a formally respectable tuner starts personal attacks and name calling (especially after the devil's "brother"). And because what? He called your cards? That's down right bullsht. That's the lowest I have ever seen anyone go. You ashamed yourself, your family, your company...
Re:
I was thinking that the taillights would have the red lights where the stock ones "appear" throught the red lens. Not one or two big "meatball(s)" like the Neons or IS300 (Altezza).
