That looks sick. I'm assuming you're running 10 spokes with stock offset. Do you have a lot of issues with bottoming out/scraping with this setup? I just put my coilovers on and am trying to decide how low to go before my alignment!
Just logging in and seeing the corvette banner made me feel:
- average
- have no excitement to drive my car
- like I was stuck in a midlife crisis (kind of like yellow viper owners)
- like I should only eat vanilla ice cream instead of trying anything unique or different
I sold my 2008 Lotus Exige S to buy the Viper. Super fun cars to drive and everyone loves to stare at them, but it was embarrassing to get pulled on by stock Mustang GT's on the freeway.
The ironic part is that there were only 3-4 Vipers staying at the Omni hotel for the event, and everybody was drooling over them.
GTR's were out in hoards and it almost became a joke as to how many were there. 50+ at the event.
The only good thing about this whole situation is it is saving my bank account from going twin turbo :drive:
But after going to TX2K13 last week they need to hurry, our Gen IV cars are getting underpowered and slower by the day!
Much better. Get rid of the black tint on the lights. As said a million times above, it's dangerous and makes the car look cheaper in my opinion.
Everything else looks great!
Looks good, but see if you can peel off the side viper logos to expose them. It would look much more legitimate that way. That or paint them black to match the two tone.
Anyone going to TX2K13? Anyone taking their Viper?
Me and a few buddies are heading down Wednesday, but I'm just going to spectate. My Gen IV doesn't have enough power yet and it's too long of a drive!
I wouldn't get too worried. I believe he has been assembling them by when they were ordered. To give you a reference, I have been waiting around 6 weeks and mine are scheduled to arrive Thursday. I'm sure yours will come up in the queue soon!
A week from now, I have an appointment to drop off my factory 5 spokes and get them powdercoated gloss black with the viper logo in the center silver and a silver pinstripe around the outside edge. The idea is to match my stripes. I was initially confident that it will look good but now I am...
Every time I see an in car video of a Texas Mile run it makes me think twice about wanting to try it. Crazy How bumpy it is!
That seems very unlikely.... no offense.
Epic plates! Hopefully it won't get keyed but you can't worry about that with these cars.
Great shots though, frame some of those and put them in your garage!
