Wondering if there is a way to tell what clutch is in my car??

Most have either Fidanza or RPS. The Fidanze has clutch plates rivoted in so they can't be replaced, RPS clutch can be rebuilt. If it's another brand, hopefully after you clean it, something might show up. You could also try posting a picture of it when i'ts out.

OEM 2006 Viper SRT10 Rims and Tires

Tire age is one of the biggest factors. I can't for the life of me remember if cars came with Run Flats or PS2's back in 2006. Find the date code on all four tires, the newer the tires, the better the asking price.

Bleeding Coolant troubles. What is the point of the fender coolant bottle?

You might be air-locked. Next time you run the car, grab the top coolant line and squeeze it with both hands real hard and release. Keep doing this pumping motion. I have to do it on my Gen 2 after refilling coolant. It helps get rid of the air lock. If this doesn't work. I would then...

Bleeding Coolant troubles. What is the point of the fender coolant bottle?

Another trick is to fill the system from the heater hose.

Never ran across anyone with a Gen 3 that didn't love the 3.55 rear gears. Glad to hear you got rid of the run flats. You are well on way to a safe and enjoyable ownership experience.

    B&B Catback

I have my car up on the lift. Do you want some pictures of it? It has the resonators that are behind the sills, but after that, it just has an x-pipe where the factory muffler would sit. Hope this helps. What I did back when researching my exhaust was going to events and listening to the...

Drivers door wiring problem and fix.

I am glad you posted this. I haven't had this issue on my car yet, but when I do, I would likely splice in a new section of wire to avoid the pulling and avoid making the flexible elbow more congested with couplers.

Handbrake has just snapped. Any ideas what has gone?

You should remove the center console to see if cables are still connected to parking brake assembly.

Bleeding Coolant troubles. What is the point of the fender coolant bottle?

Based on what you are describing, it appears you simply have some air pockets that need to be worked out. There are other variables that could be involved, but it would require additional information. I know the 01 and some 02 had water pump impeller issues, so that should not be a problem on...

Dash Lights Went Out While Driving

I would assume you have a short, however, you would think if you had an exposed wire that got wet, it would have shorted the system and blew the fuse. First place i would look is at the actual head light switch. It's possible it is going bad or has loose connections.

    77 Vipers

I have been thinking about this collection and it overwhelms me to think about keeping track of maintenance, driving the cars etc. I wonder if you could remove a car from their collection and if they would be able to identify which one without having the review a manifest.

I have seen a one or two with air suspension. Never got a chance to speak to owners though about how it rode.

    B&B Catback

I am fairly certain there is a video from B&B floating around the internet with just the cat-back installed. I never had it installed when stock so I can't be of any assistance either. I did prefer the sound of B&B over others when I made my decision to go with B&B.

    Fender Liner Modification with Rivnuts

Nicely done. I have been meaning to do this modification to my side sill screws. If you haven't done those, you may want to look into it.

    This dude is crazy...

If it were Saphire Blue or one of the other one year colors, graphite, Steel Gray, etc perhaps they would command slightly higher money. Especially if someone is really missing a particular model they use to have. As for the three specific colors I mentioned, I know people who have had them...

    77 Vipers

I always wondered where the Star Wars and Cingular Promotional Vipers ended up. I also remembered they had the last Gen 4, interesting that they don't actually drive that one.

Thoughts on painting the underside of front bumper

Not a big deal, all Vipers get scrapes. If it bothers you enough, find a local air brush artist to just touch up those areas. Paint doesn't have to be car show quality on the underside of front fascia. in fact, there are quite a few decent air brush artists out there.
