Karen, I have missed this thread until now as well. I'll find his number and email it to you. I have also heard good things about the Vipertech at Safford Dodge in Springfield.....
Wonder if you might have a wheel speed sensor going bad? Do you have the original radio? Try turning the AVC off and see if that stops the radio issue at least.
I wonder if he upgraded to the newer Gen II oil pan. Not certain, but I believe the change was made in 2000. Oil capacity was increased to 10 quarts and the new pan had better baffling in it.
The vents do relieve air pressure when closing the glass however, they also allow pressure to escape when air bags deploy. I have heard that if your air bags deploy while windows are closed, the glass will blow out/shatter if vents are blocked. I would not block off the vents.
12th Annual Western Maryland Fall Cruise 2014
Cruise Details: The Western Maryland Fall Cruise may likely be one of the last times to get your Viper out before the real cold weather and inclement conditions hit our area. This year’s cruise will start in New Market, Maryland and end...
Greg, I am sorry..........................................................
that you will have to hold your breathe for a long time.:rolaugh: Sorry, couldn't help it. Best track experience by far for me when factoring in facility/instructors and event itself.
I have a local dealer that has two pre-ordered. Both are at MSRP. I looked at order screen last week. Base was $60,990.00. Transmission was $2K and there were a few other options that could bump up price pretty good but I didn't pay too close attention to them.
You could try to sell them, just disclose their age. Chances are there is someone out their with bald/older tires. While they are not as good as a new set, they do have some value.
Depends on buyer. I don't think you could ever recoup the expense of buying a lower mileage motor for resale value. The chasis still has the miles on it. There is a buyer out there for the car as is. I love seeing that some people choose to enjoy the car everyday versus the garage queen...
I would also check the IAC and TPS sensors. It's possible that all symptoms have one common source, however, you could have multiple issues. Have throttle bodies ever been syncronized and cleaned? Good luck.
I'll let Ed know about your post via email. If memory serves me his car is a 94. His mask was not in that bad of shape, I checked it out at VOI. I had suggested that he find a local upholstery shop to fix the one damaged panel.
It would probably be easier to replace it though.
