    As I posted (and posted pics) in a few of the other threads the 6 1/2" speakers are "supposed" to fit. The hole is 6 3/8" so the speakers fit, barely, but the covers do not fit and you can't install any more than about 1/4" height at the top front of the speakers because of dash interference...

    50/50 weight balance is perfect and tires being wider at rear are to balance the cornering is my guess. Since the ACR is the world's fastest production car on a road course I'm going to say that's proof that if the Viper went to a mid engine it would (unless the balance was exactly the same)...

    Since the weight balance of the Viper is perfect, why screw it up and start over again? Imagine a car with a lot of rear weight ... understeer that won't drive the car around the corner under you lift the throttle around the corner. Wouldn't be a better car, just a different car.

    Head and amps are good Alpine stuff and replacing them made no difference in any of my cars. However, the stock speakers are JUNK. Anything aftermarket is an upgrade, but active crossover for the doors is a huge improvment. Do a search and find one of the various threads on stereo upgrades...

    put a 2x4 under your oilpan and gently jack up the engine. Everything in good shape would lift the car off the ground, but I don`t recomned that much pressure. Jack to take up the slack and then apply a little pressure. If a mount is broken then the engine should lift off of a broken motor...

    Does the clutch pedal feel spongy, if so it probably got some air in the line. But if not maybe the plastic bushing on the pivot shaft at the top of the pedal collapsed and needs replacment, try wiggling the pedal and see if it has some looseness at the top or any sideways movement. Or maybe...

    Search Tom's 40mm rear brake upgrade. Tom's rear brake caliper stops as well as 4 piston rears (except under race conditions). Perfect, affordable upgrade for Gen 1 and 2s. Ted
