Could you post a picture? I have no idea what you are talking about.

    Bandimere September 26th

I will be there around 4. I've heard from a couple other folks that are coming as well. Should be perfect weather.

Built in August, for October delivery? I wonder if they will meet those dates.

    Transmission Issues (Recommendations)

The McLeod street twin clutch and McLeod lightweight flywheel would be a good choice, particularly if you plan on upping the power some day. Drives almost like stock, but stronger and more durable. Upgraded transmission mount is very cheap if you've got the tranny out already. Skip...

    Widest front wheel???

No problems. These are the sizes I run at the track, so I thrash them with no rubbing or binding issues. (Kumho 700 on an SSR 11x18 wheel) Scotty White ran 315s all around on his T1 car. I don't know if he had to make changes or not to run those widths.

    Widest front wheel???

I can't say whether it is the absolute widest, but I'm running 305/30/18 tires on 11 inch wheels and have no issues.

    345 pilot sport cups questions

I ran 295/30/18 up front with no problems. 305 would have been better, but they don't make them in that size. I considered the 315s, but was worried that 315s would rub if I used them up front. They aren't the greatest street tires. I like my PS2s better for the street. They are a good...

    Stiffer springs for my Motons

I had a long talk last week with Lex Carson, the US Moton rep. He was the one who told me that reducing cannister pressure would increase rebound dampening. He said that going from 220 to 150 would be similar to turning up rebound dampening by one or two clicks on a club sport.

    Engine buildup - advice req'd

You can do it, but it will be expensive. Be prepared to spend 3 or 4 times as much for a naturally aspirated 700rwhp car than you would for a supercharged car making the same power. The reason for this is that you are going to have to replace/modify just about every piece of the engine with...

    Stiffer springs for my Motons

I was running 220psi cannister pressure with the old springs, and 150 psi now. So far, that seems about right, as with the stiffer springs, I will need less bump damping and more rebound damping. Still playing with the motons. Currently, bump is set to 2, with rebound at 3. (same at...

    Stiffer springs for my Motons

So far, I'm pretty happy with street performance. I live at the end of a long, washboard dirt road, so my suspension gets a work out every time I drive the car. No jarring or loss of control even on bad road surfaces. Like I said, I haven't yet tracked the car, so I don't know what these...

    Stiffer springs for my Motons

Raising cannister pressure will increase bump damping and decrease rebound damping. You can go as high as 300psi.

    Stiffer springs for my Motons

I've been using 550# and 750# springs with my Motons for a while now. I've been playing with suspension settings, and could not get things quite right. The car seemed just a little bit hesitant in the turns, with a little too much roll. So, I took the opportunity (while my Motons were...

    Uncomfortable Seats

I love my (2004) stock seats. I take my car on long cross country road trips, and have never had any back issues. I've had two ruptured vertebrae, so not all seats work for me. I do drive with my seat pretty far reclined, so perhaps that has something to do with it.

    SRT-10 heads

I have not dealt with Greg Good, but based on reputation alone, if I were going to get my stock heads done (as opposed to buying Stryker castings) he would be the guy I would go to. You might try posting this query on the other forum. I know that Greg Good posts and reads there on occasion...

    Bandimere September 26th

Some Colorado Viper folks will be getting together for the test and tune at Bandimere on Wednesday, September 26th. Gates open at 4:00. We may go out for food afterwards, (still making plans.) Come out and run your Viper before Bandi closes for the season!

Vipers in CO going to Bandimer tonight?

Let's do it. Test and tune, and go out for food after. I will see if I can spread the word with the Colorado contingent.

Not tonight, but I'm going to try and go on the 26th. What year car do you have? Let us know how things go.

4 point harness for 06 Coupe

The SRT-10 comes from the factory with the mounting points already installed for a Team Tech 6 point harness. Call Jon B at Parts Rack. He has the best prices I've seen on these.

    Vortex Cones? Worth the price?

I put them in my car. They decreased noise significantly below 3000 rpm. I did a before and after dyno. HP and torque were within 4 before and after (3 less hp, 4 more torque.) My car has Corsa Track 3 inch, with RT cats. Without the cones, it was so loud I had a headache driving it...

Danica Patrick drives the 2008 Dodge Viper

Everyone is quick to say she is full of b.s., but I can't really fault her much. First off, when she was complaining about acceleration, she was in 5th gear, not 6th. She acknowledged that 6th gear is a cruising overdrive gear. There is a big gap between 4th and 5th gear. When you are...

    SRT/10 5 points?

Why not just buy the 6-points? They will certainly be safer, and probably easier/cheaper than fabricating a bracket.

    First No Front Plate Ticket

I got one here in Colorado (also by a parking enforcement person.) Ticket was $16. It would have to be $1600 before I would consider getting a front plate.

    Best of the Best.....

Best naturally aspirated Viper engine builder: Kevin Singleton (Exotic Engine Development) My vote for best horsepower track would be Miller Motorsports Park in Utah: 4.5 miles http://www.millermotorsportspark.com/track-maps.php I can't argue with you on the others.
