It might not be as light as you want, but it still has a big cube V10 and is lighter then the last iteration by a lot if you get the SRT version and AERO package.
My ACR has a steel frame. I get you wanted a lot of changes, but those things cost a lot and can only be made up by selling a lot...
I get it you guys complaining all want a speed 12

Of course that car was never made for a lot of reasons. There is no money in a car like that, even if a few of us would love a car like that. Also, it was going to cost 250k pounds so it's 3X...
how is the icon tarnished when the 08 viper (non acr) wasn't the fastest car in the world on a drag strip or on a road course? It took the acr to be the fastest on a road course and neither was ever a drag car winner. The Gen 5 is a faster car then a standard Gen 4 in every respect, lighter...
Up close the GTR isn't a bad looking car. It doesn't stand out, but it's a 2+2, not a low slung sports car. It always has been that way. I've driven a couple and been up close to more then a handful, stock and modified and I don't think it's a bad looking car at all. It's got a lot of scoops...
Ralph posted on twitter that the production seats have arrived and are much more comfortable. So it seems like some parts if the car are still being perfected.
You guys are putting to much stake in mag reviews. Yes, people will spew it on the internet to troll, but affecting sales, unlikely. The new civic was getting murdered by everyone and broke sales records. The acr was killing everything and sales were awful. These tests have very little to do...

So the tire I showed a picture of is different than this one?
The article is from jan 2012 and they won't be out until next year? :dunno:
This is the basic trofeo tire...
wat? car needs new tires.
all those cars are more then capable of killing you when you turn all the nannies off. Some of them are very hairy on the edge too. If you aren't fighting over steer out of every corner and trail braking oversteer into every corner you aren't driving any car hard...
I disagree about it not hitting it's mark if the right tires were used. The stock Gen V would be as fast or faster then the outgoing Gen IV ACR. That is a lot faster on a track then the standard Gen IV. I personally believe with comparable tires it's just as fast or faster than the Gen IV in...
i agree.
The problem is dot 4 brake fluid is much more hygroscopic than Dot 3. You need to make sure you change it much more often. With most people buying the track pack to putz around on the street race pads and Dot 4 fluid makes no sense.
I would make it an option so at least you can put...
Drove mine from Austin to San Francisco. It was interesting. It's fun now that I look back at it. It had it's moments, but it was a lot of driving. Have a co-driver helps a lot.
