    I didn't realize chrom was shinier/flashier than polished aluminum. Is it? I never really notice those things just know my wheels look bad even by my low standards. :smirk:

    I hate all of you. :) I wanted a yes or a no from EVERYONE. :) Actually not considering it for the shine factor, just that my wheels look like crap because brake dust was left on them for 2 weeks, and I want them to look better.

    Just wondering what people's experiences are with getting their clear coat wheels chromed. My wheels are NOT looking too great so have been thinking of getting them chromed. California Chrome will do the job for $125 a wheel. Will they be harder to maintain, easier or about the same? Thanks.

    You missed the deals. They were going on when the Gen IIs started coming out. Now the deals are on the 18" with the Gen IIIs taking 19" tires. Why don't you get Kuhmos they are pretty inexpensive.

    Ok so it is 500 HP with a super charger and the SRT is 500 HP without. Does that mean there is more potential to up the HP on the SRT than the GT?

    Cosburn you are not even sure if you will get the car back and you are selling the hardtop already? Hold on a couple days you never know. Must be some experienced car theifs. Locked garage AND and alarm system.

    AMSOIL vs Mobil-1

    I don't distrust Amsoil just figure that ALOT of VIpers have done well on Mobile 1 so for me I will stick with it. I would think Amsoil is a good substitute but personally just don't want to risk it.

    Nope didn't work. Anyone have other ideas? I wonder if it has gone into the clear coat. It is little spots but VERY noticable.
