Years ago when I had a '94 I played with the hood adjustments and got it pretty close, and a Viper Tech at the local dealer tweeked it somemore and it got even better so if you have a dealer with one try that. Otherwise, early cars have big gaps at time - I saw a '96 auctioned at Barrett-Jackson...
I was going through some old boxes since we are moving next month and found an as-new gas cap for a Harley that I had engraved with the Sneaky Pete logo. If anyone is interested get back to me and I can take a pic and pass it along; I will try to take a pic later and post it here. And I will let...
I have used Grundy for years, and when I totalled a 2006 Viper they paid in full, plus all of the extras...very easy to deal with and their rates are great.
I would suggest that you have whomever you buy one from to take a pic of the dash with the miles shown, and ask why there are more than 10 miles or so. To make a long story short, I bought a new '06 a few years back from a dealer that said it had 12 miles. But when it arrived at my house it had...
I read about the auction in the paper before it happened and they did not specify what kind of Vipers they had...if I had known it would be in my garage now:

Years ago I had a Black with Silver stripes '95 with the TNT 550 package, and juice as well - when I pulled that car into the garage the cat used to run under the bed, the walls shook, etc....what a beast.
I talked to Naples a few months ago about a Viper they had for sale, which also showed as "Pending". They said they had an offer for a couple grand less than the price but told me that since the sale was not finalized I could present an offer...seemed kinda unethical IMO.
Otherwise, they seem...
I put over 10k miles on a '94 when I lived in Maryland - there is no way in hell I would have bought it if it did not have AC...my wife & I both thought it worked very well.
I've used "303 High Tech Fabric Guard" on convertible tops for many years (and patio furniture cushions, etc.) and found it to be the best - clean the top first and then spray it on the top after it is dry...continues to look like new and bird crap, etc. comes right off.
Maybe you could take it out in a gravel parking lot somewhere and start doing donuts, etc. - have someone record it for us to watch on Youtube. And then have the insurance company repaint the entire car.
Sorry to hear it and if it makes you feel any better I took a big hit on the last one I sold (and a big hit on the old house when I sold it when building a new one)!
And if you were closer I would have already been over looking at it.
There may be demand for "new" 2010s now but when the next generation comes out the prices for used ones will drop, just as they do for most vehicles. And trust me, the next generation Viper will be above par with the Gen IVs...Fiat is not that stupid.
