Re: Help! I can\'t remove my oil filter, Part II - Outcome...
I wouldn't even give the body shop the keys to the car, some numb nuts is gonna start it and end up blowing the motor. Bummer about the dent, this is gonna be one expensive oil change :) Good luck, and sweet looking car. lowered...
WTF are you using any type of non-petroleum based lube on them when installing the injectors? I have done many many intake manifold swaps on various vehicles and have never had to replace all the O-rings. On occasion one will be torn and have to be replaced but it's not a common occurance.
Re: Help! I can\'t remove my oil filter..
What type of oil filter wrench are you using? Was the wrench slipping or were you just not strong enough to turn it?
No kidding, you would think with the type of people who buy vipers an 87' Iroc just wouldn't fit in. Next they are gonna break out sleveless denim jackets, some purple oakley M frames and put something up on cinder blocks in the front yard.
Ahhhh yep Cali speedway. That sure doesn't look like a CC to me. Whats up with the Gen II seats, and stock fuel door setup. From what I can tell it's a GTS that has been hacked up. And doesn't look that good either, should have left it alone.
Having used all the normal stuff, zaino, and now pinnacle I can say with 100% certantly that Pinnacle is light years ahead of all the others. But you pay a nice premium for it.

Oh and I hand apply all of it. Don't trust myself with a high powered right angle polisher...
Sounds like your sensors are on the way out. Easy test is to move the right sensor to the left and vise versa. If the funky readings follow the sensors then you just nailed the problem. If you find after changing the sensor sides that the right and left bank are still reading excessively...
Re: Front Rotor 13 1/2\'\' or 14\'\' for street/track
Bingo, pad size can have a very small effect on overall power as it changes the total area where the cliper pressure is being dispersed but it's a very very small change.
Re: Front Rotor 13 1/2\'\' or 14\'\' for street/track
The 14" rotors should have the same vertical pad contact distance as the 13.5s Pads are made to fit the caliper NOT the rotor, there are plenty of guys using viper brakes on 11.5" rotors (older mopars, cudas etc) with the stock size pads...
Your O2 sensors will not be happy about the leaded fuel at all. Hard to say how long they will last cause your not running it straight. I can say personally after running 50 or so gallons of C16 through mine they gave me fits. It took me a good 6 months to run that much fuel through it but...
I would take the time to talk with L&G Enterprise in San Dimas (where 10/210 fwy meet) They do phenominal body/paint work and do quite a few custom trucks for SEMA etc. One of the few shops I would trust with any of my vehicles.
Re: Front Rotor 13 1/2\'\' or 14\'\' for street/track
Not wheel spacers, the baer calipers are radial moun and a .250" spacer under the caliper will let it sit on top of the mount and fit a 14" rotor just peechy. With just a .250" spacer I wouldn't worry about it. Run the 14's
If he was just getting on the fwy, then sure why not. Rather than spin/flip the car at least try to make the car drive through it. Rolling wheels are controllable, locked up wheels are about as useful as driving w/o tires.
I'm kinda curious here. You went from 3-2 at 69mph on accident. Why didn't you just put your foot to the floor and drive out of it. The car will easily break 70 in 2nd and its much easier to drive through rear wheel spin than lockup.
Ya know what they say about hindsight.
So if I understand this correctly it reduces power but cutting the fuel to cylinders. Not partially but completely killing the injector firing? Does it do this one at a time or in pairs?
On the viper it has sequentially firing cylinder so does it cut the two that were firing at the same...
Not sure if you guys are interested or not but there is a private track day at Fontana April 8th. I know quite a few people who are heading out, should be a good time for everyone.
Any of you guys with SRT seats that you decide to replace let me know. I'm looking for a set of seats for another vehicle.

Re: Help - Startech Brakes - 405mm/16\'\'
How many race teams have you seen running rotors that large? Size helps modulation and it disipates heat better but at the expense of increased unsprung weight. The majority of the power increase is from the caliper/pad selection. Look at the stock...
