    08 break squealers and changing to stop-techs

    Loss or rotating mass of about 30 lbs total and better looks. In addition the stop-techs are two piece so you only replace the disk (vs disk and hat) when such maintenance is called for.

    Any problems with 08's

    Well ... the pictures - constantly. Lots of :2tu:. Impulsion to wash it as much as watering restrictions allow. Increased electricity bill from constantly keep the garage door open to the house to see the car. Constant large grins I cannot get off my face every time I get in and drive...

    What kind of pads did you buy? The stock perform quite well ... for some reason it never crossed my mind on the squeallers before I read the SRT chat.

    Was reading over the SRT engineers posting about changing an 08 rotor to that of the ACR and they mentioned removing the squealer ... I am wondering if this also applies if you change out stock 08 rotors to Stop-Tech rotors? Thanks!:drive:

    YES .... that said ... can't remember which ... but another Dodge plant was supposed to close 5 years ago and it is still open. Sooooo they could sell car and plant, keep plant open longer than expected or build it at another plant.... It always works out don't worry.

    Ahhhhh few sets of tires ... he likes agressive starts!!! Three sets could $5k alone. BUT he did forgot about reduction to healthcare for all the smiles and happiness the car provides! Much like having pet.
