Sure look nice but wouldnt waste the money on them unless they came stock. Alot of cash which, for my purposes, could be used elsewhere....more powerrrrrr......
I have 355s and I can hit it anywere in the rpm range and it response well (Iam also making more then stock paxton #s). I was debating about going back to stock 307s so I had more gear to toy around with (currently in 5th gear at 5800 rpms, im doing 155-160), would like to hit closer to the...

If ur fine with 600rwhp do a head and cam or Used roe blower and install urself. If over 600rwhp power then spend the funds on getting the engine built. All depends on future plans.
Talk to chuck tator, you can do the cam swap without removing the heads but Im sure few have the experience to do this but as mention, do the heads while your at it. Not worth it not too.
I think a cooler cabin car but but slight gas smell and ur side sills may discolor over time. As mentioned above, bite the bullet while ur there if funds permit. If not I wouldn't bother.
Engine build will run about 5k. If you have to go this route might as well do head and cam for a little extra. Hope things work out best for you.

Stock here and more power then u and it's fine. I like have that weak link to give as oppose to trans or diff. I've heard good things about the spec 2 as others have mentioned.
I also don't drag race, just highway pulls.
Use ur clutch to easy into gears when dropping power at high rpms. Has saved me a couple times.
make sure u have good tires that are not old. If so then replace them.
