Where is the paint code located on the srt? Has anyone used one of the "paint pencils" to touch uo rock chips? If so, did it work well? Which brand did you use?
Re: Side sill
My car is the same as "Smog Dogs". I find the sandblasting to be less than on my GTS. I have about 10000KM (6000 miles) on the car. I don't notice anything unless I get right down on the ground and look under the car. I have yet to see any product, including 3M, that looks...
At our last autocross for our region the SRT's came out on top! I came in second place in my srt, very close behind the winner in his srt. The other 18 drivers were all driving gen 1 & 2 cars (also 1 VW bug!), some with big modifications. My car (at that time) was in need of the valve...
I drive my car daily and have no "heat issue". It is no different than the Rt/10 and the GTS I owned in the past. I have not had any problems other that the valve replacement recall and the "rattle" in the soft top latch. Both have been repaired and the car is awesome - I like it much more than...

Funny PJS, I just had my SRT at a car show yesterday (over 1000 cars) and my SRT won the award for the "Best Sports Car". I never won with my RT or my GTS - not to say I don't love the design of those two but the SRT is one mean looking car, and as for the performance there is no comparison...
I am from Canada and also ordered 2 SRT's. I was informed by DC that they cancelled one of my orders because, in their words, there were not as many cars being allocated to Canada as they first thought. Funny that there are a few sitting at dealerships now.
Also the 04's are on the line but...
I have used my bra 2 times and noticed a very slight mark in the area that you refer to. I was able to remove the marks with a quick buff - no damage at all.
I was told by the Canadian DC rep, who is taking care of the situation, that a valve job is a valve job and that any tech can do it. I told her I was concerned because when I left my rt/10 at the dealer for some repair work it came back to me COVERED in yellow shop dust. When they open up the...
