Did Kumho come out with 18s

Nadine, wonder how much it would cost to ship a set from the UK over here???

Carbon Fiber Air Boxes FOR SALE

Well, I can see some of the usual suspects gathering. I'm telling you right now I'm gonna seek an injunction if this thread goes north of 3 pages. . .

    720+ RWHP Creampuff combo

That's excellent power for a cast piston car. Cast pistons should be ok as long as the tune is good.

Whats the stickiest tire available in a 345/30/19 ??

I sent BFG an e-mail about that a few months back and got a reply saying they had no plans to make a drag radial in that size. I don't know anything about the Bridgestone, but a 345/35 is going to be awfully tall--the 345/30/19 is already over an inch taller than stock. A 345/35 must be 28"...

Did Kumho come out with 18s

I think the consensus from the last thread on this was that the rears appear to be out in Europe, but not over here yet. I think the fronts are available.

Who in here has purchased the Paxton kit on a 2000-2002 Viper?

You don't appear to understand the implication of your words. By saying you are "not recommending" something, it implies people shouldn't buy it, because if it were worth buying, you would "recommend" it. Any of us could say about any Viper product we've never bought, "I don't recommend it,"...

Who in here has purchased the Paxton kit on a 2000-2002 Viper?

Unless you've had a Roe also (which as far as I know is the only other DIY kit out there), why would you phrase this this way? I wouldn't expect you to recommend it if you haven't tried it, but I don't see what basis you have for saying not to buy one either. And you've posted your "warning"...

    HID install (pics)

Thanks. Now I'm wondering where I can get a couple of those harnesses.

That kit looks just like the one I used, except mine didn't come with the relay harnesses. What do they do anyway?

    Roe SC + headers/exhaust = 700+ HP?

No. You'll need to throw some ported heads and rockers on to get there.

Now that's the best news I've heard today. :2tu: :2tu:

    Exotic Car Insurance?

Ditto what Joe said. I put maybe 2k miles a year on my car and it seems ridiculous to pay "regular" Allstate rates for up to 7,500 miles as a non-daily driver, so I checked with one of the specialty outfits you're describing. The result: for 3k miles a year the cost was maybe 10% less than...

    UPDATE ON NICKS COUCH!

I sure hope Scott is able to snap a couple of pics of Nick unwrapping that bad boy. :)

Roe Viper started smoking like a friggin gas stack.............

Bindy, you've had a run of bad luck, but as you perceptively observed earlier, it's not too bad when you compare it to other more important things. I think it's a good thing you went with the blower instead of just going to larger t/b's--not sure what would have happened if the blower hadn't...

    RaceDeck flooring

Jorgen gives 10% off to VCA members, so he's sort of running a group buy for us every day.

Roe Viper started smoking like a friggin gas stack.............

Was yours the blower that ate a screw from one of the throttle bodies, or was there a problem with the blower?

    RaceDeck flooring

Whatever you do don't buy RaceDeck from anyone but RaceDeck directly. I've seen it in some auto specialty catalogues selling for twice RaceDeck's direct price, even without the VCA discount. That quote BillB mentioned above is close to twice what it should be from RaceDeck.

    AEM engine management update.

I was wondering about the t/c system as well. The OEM traction control systems I'm familiar with use not only engine management (retarding timing, etc.) but selectively apply the brakes as well (such as to a slipping wheel). Doesn't this require the electronics, sensors, etc. to be set up for...

Roe Viper started smoking like a friggin gas stack.............

Not too long after the first batch of kits shipped, Sean sent out a new fuel line fitting to everyone due to an issue with one of the stock fittings. I don't even remember where it went, but apparently there were one or more people that had a fuel leak after installing the s/c. I'm sure Larry...

    AEM engine management update.

Yeah, if the price is closer to $4k than $2k Sean is going to sell a LOT of VEC2's.

    Anyone with chrome HRE's?

Re: Anyone with chrome HRE\'s? I for one never thought you were mad, but I'll agree with you 100% that you are seriously confused. That last post is so full of contradictions (both internally and with your earlier post) and inane ramblings it doesn't merit being taken apart. Shinier Good...

    Anyone with chrome HRE's?

Re: Anyone with chrome HRE\'s? BTW, chrome wheels do require more upkeep than other finishes, and if your Viper is a daily driver that you wash whenever you get around to it, I wouldn't get them. 2MANYTOYS and I wouldn't think of driving the snake without cleaning the wheels. :)

    Anyone with chrome HRE's?

Re: Anyone with chrome HRE\'s? bwhitmore, if you don't like chrome that's great--to each his own. You can powdercoat your wheels pink if that's what suits your fancy. But if you think chrome wheels are "out of style to everyone but the gold tooth rappers," then you're just, um, wrong. Gold...

    CAT DELETE

I bought a couple of pieces of 3" stainless from Burns Stainless, but I think you can use aluminized pipe without any problems. You can weld the inserts in, but it's easier to use 3" stainless steel band clamps which are available from your local NAPA dealer for about $12 each.

    Anyone with chrome HRE's?

Re: Anyone with chrome HRE\'s? HRE has them chromed while new all the time. Mine came that way. Sounds like a lot of unfounded concerns to me.
