Re: Driver interior door switch won\'t open door
Thanks Randy...there is little I am afraid of tackling with the car, so I may think about getting one and putting it away.
I was wondering more about part cost...thanks again.
One more thing. Is this $400 harness the whole deal, or do you need...
Collinite is an old school wax that is difficult to remove and apply. It was originally designed for the glass insulators on the tops of electric poles.
I am anxious to try the new Zaino products. I guess I'm a Zaino Zealot, but in my 20 years of restoring and showing national award winning...
Re: Driver interior door switch won\'t open door
Randy...how difficult was that harness to change? And, do you remember about how much the harness cost?
BJ is all smoke and mirrors. A friend just got back from the auction today and said that the cars represented were pretty much what you would see at a local show. Alot of very average cars with a few standouts. What he meant was that most were very average restorations...only a few 100pt...
Re: The article about brakes Viper Magazine didn\'t want to print...
PM sent, thanks Tom.
It's a shame that corporate America puts a stop to informative things like this at Viper Magazine. It has to be "pro-Mopar" the whole way.
Other magazines like Mopar Action, Hot Rod, etc...all manage to...
I have been using the cig lighter plug deal since about 1998 on three different Vipers...works great.
I did not want to install under the hood as I did not want to have the look of the charger hanging on the car.
Electric is what you want as some gas models put the exhaust in the airflow.
I tried the leave blower deal awhile back, and while it helps...the best solution is NOt having to wry at all.
I know I have mentioned it before on another post, but I have been thrilled with a water de-ionizing...
Mr Clean forces you to use their soap as well, and as I understand it, their soap strips your wax off. Their soap has some sort of sheeting agent to help get the water off. The filters also wear out quickly.
As said in another post, I went with a Spotless system...makes life easy. I cannot...
I have been using V1s for over a decade and cannot imagine travelling without one.
In my daily cars, the Cobra and Excursion, I went as far as permanently mounting the wiring and then installing the Valentine Remote display. In the Cobra I even installed a convertible top switch (mine's a coupe...
Toms, that's a Crown Victoria with the glass roof....regular Victorias had steel.
I have a '72 Plymouth that is a family heiloom. It means the world to me, but is not that valueable. Still, after the restoration this car got...I'm done driving it. It's just no fun. Someone asked me what I would...
They recently put these cameras in on our Roosevelt BLVD here in NE Philly. They are SUPPOSED to only issue citations when you enter on a red...if you enter the intersection on a yellow..they aer not supposed to photo you.
I don't dry my cars at all anymore. This is about the best detailing investment I have made.

If anyone has questions, PM me. I cannot imagine being without this system. If you order...mention my name.
Who knows whether or not DCX will axe the Viper. It's all speculation. A year off to clear up some inventory problems is a good idea from a business stand point.
I doubt they lose money on every Viper sold, and I suppose that the trickle-down theory is what some hope for. Meaning, some folks...
44...everything else in my car is stock...except for removal of the rear resonator. I have not seen those black pits since.
The Snake-Oyl rear assembly removes the far rear resonator and repaces it with straight pipe.
I was thinking of doing under my side sills too....went as far as talking to the folks at 3M that make the tape. They thought the area would get too hot and that it would yellow. It's a been a few years, but they also had the concern that the high heat may cause problems with it getting brittle...
I had the same problem on my 1996 GTS. I do not have this problem on my 2000. I removed the rear resonator and went to the Snake-Oyl set-up. I doubt it's gasoline, more like carbon and condensation.
I beleive the factory resonators hold the moisture longer and it exits the car hotter and burns...
Re: What\'s the best short shifter for a GenII??????
FWIW worth...I simply got rid of the factory isolator, installed one of the short throw adapters from Rich Detert, and switched to the earlier know as I hated the 2000 one. Huge difference for little bucks.
(Off topic but.. I installed a MGW...
Here are some thoughts from a guy that is the Head Judge for a Mopar car club, and has shown national award winning older Mopars for over a decade.
At a point judged show, if you enter a show that does not have a newer car class, you will never do well. The judges will not award the higher...
One more thought. If you buy direct from Valentine...they have your name listed as the owner of the unit's serial number.
If you buy elsewhere and later need service or upgrades...their policy is to return the unit to the name listed as the owner...not to who sent it in....to help protect...
Valentine has no 3rd party dealers...they only sell direct.
So, an ebay dealer must buy from Valentine and mark it up.
The best way to ensure that you are getting the latest version, is to buy direct. They have running changes to their units.
Looks classy. I have been thinking about doing a different color grey to two tone on my Steel Grey GTS.
One thought though...do you really want that metal plaque mounted to the airbag cover?
