    Door speakers are not what they should be!

    I am absolutely crazy about the sound of my engine when it winds up to aroung 5k rpm. Downshifting sounds pretty good too. Tire squealing is a bit disappointing (I'm scrubbing off speed ya know)and I'm not really sure about the sound when the ABS is controlling the braking. BTW....can anyone...

    Another note on the K&N intake

    I was asked by K&N to use my car to re-test an SRT on the current production version of the kit. Bert, the engineer said they had a problem with a supplier delivering plastic roto-molded tubes that were not properly made. He said that the problem has been taken care of and no future kits...

    One Little Screw in my Run-Flat and I am out $1000 !

    Wah...Wah...Wah...You've done nothing but whine about your car since you got it. You drive the thing so slowly that patching the tire won't make a difference....in fact, you can just use the run-flat without air for another 2000 miles and that way you don't have to buy new tires!

    Re: The Viper is a waste of money. just saw an ad during the Olympics for the C6. It looks like 2 13 year old kids are driving them doing stunts. I think they finally found an honest ad campaign....let the children drive the Corvette and let the adults drive the Vipers.

    The best dyno runs I showed after installing the K&N kit on my otherwise stock 03 SRT was 456 rwhp and 484 ft/#'s torque. You might want to look at the average run graphs in my photos or check the previous post...

    I had K&amp;N install a FIPK Filter kit on my 2003 SRT. We did 8 Dyno runs...4 stock and 4 with the new kit installed. The average of the runs shows a gain of 10HP and 10 ft/lbs of torque.     Speaker question for srt owners

    I think the air noise you hear with the a/c on is air leaking from the rear edge of the windows. The blower on full creates positive air pressure in the interior with the top up and the windows closed. The air escapes from the upper rear corners of the side windows in my 03.

    Sorry Marv....I might guess that the future market for tires is for Gen III and beyond. That means ZP tires unless owners convert and risk running without spares. I won't be out your way until the temp stays below 100 for a week! You're welcome to come visit me at the beach! Andy

    Michelin Tire Issue & concern

    I put a set of 19" PS2's on my CL 55 about 8 weeks ago. They ride much better than the stock Bridgestones and the handling is amazing. They are great tires so far.
