    Make sure the pipes & tips are not too close to the rear bumper cutout or the increased heat can melt a hole in the bumper facia opening.

    Thinking about buying a Viper, but there is one big problem....

    I think some of it has to do with how you are built, IE longer legs, torso, etc. I am 6'3" and 220 and have no problem fitting in my GTS. I think the Viper is a bit more crowded than the vette for the normal person and that is just something you get accustomed to. The seat lowering kits do help...

    In Stones book Viper on page 36, he speaks of Lamborghini Engineering being used for the development of the V-10. He also adds that at the time Lambo was Chrysler owned. So it is true the engine pedigree has an Italian bloodline, but no German that I can find.

    you can also put speed bleeders in, open them and that will allow the piston to push in without much pressure at all.

    A trailer built for a Viper -- finally!

    I am just curious why the Sloans quick loader is not consider a trailer built for a Viper. The Sloans literature has a yellow quick loader with a yellow Viper on it. My 2001 GTS loads easily on the Sloans, and the doors open without removing the trailer fenders.

    In that picture, it comes down to the rice mobiles or the pimp daddy wanna be in em. Also the build quality (paint jobs) on these vipers, could be a bit better for the money....and I ain't whining! just stating a fact.

    Brake Piston tool for 2001+

    One option is to put a speed bleeder on the caliper and open it, then press/twist the piston in. Works.

    You might want to have your tech make sure your fuel supply (injector pw, fuel pressure, etc) is adequate for the increased air flow of the new rockers.

    To stripe or not?

    I wonder if it would be possible to find a semi-clear vinyl stripe with the hue of your choice to emulate painted ghost stripes? Maybe a semi-clear stripe with a <u>subdued</u> metallic silver to compliment the sapphire blue! I really think this could be a great way to add stripes.
