Does anyone know what difficulties I would run into swapping a 2005 or 2006 engine into my 2004? Engine harness and computer would come with the new engine. Thanks
I've done several of them- depending on the year you may (or may not) have to extend the factory crankshaft position sensor wire. You can extend your factory harness, just not the sensor wire.
What I have found is the connector from the Engine Harness C104 and the Main Harness are different. The 2004 main harness has 14 wires and the 2005/6 has 16 wires, two rows of 7 and an extra wire on each side. Any idea what the extra wires go to or how to deal with the connectors being different?
