I thought this article was interesting. To me the top cars of that will become collectible, were cars we lusted over in our youth and want again today. In the 70's it was muscle cars and they are today.
It interesting that Viper tops the charts and I agree. The GT would be my number #2 choice.
The Mercedes though never did it for me.
