I spent two months talking to various dealerships about buying a Viper. Tried the local dealerships in Kansas City - yuck. Tried all the "big" names for Vipers all around the country. Was treated poorly by just about all of them (no return calls, arrogant salespeople, etc.). All except one. Yeah, those guys at Woodhouse. Both Bill and Bob answered my questions as patiently as possible. No pressure to buy at all. None. When I finally took the plunge and sent my deposit in, Bill didn't laugh at me two days later when I called in "panic mode":
Me: "Bill! Did you place my order yet?!"
Bill (in some foreign accent): "Yah, ve ordered ze brand-spankin' new GTS for joo."
Me: "Uh, I forgot to tell you that I wanted the six-speed and NOT an automatic - I hope you didn't order an auto..."
Bill (switching accents and managing not to laugh): "Senior Marshall, de Wiper honly comes in a seex speed."
Me (blushing like an idiot): "Oh"
I have pioneered "the most stupid question" and they handled it with aplomb. Rest assured that you will enjoy the most spectacular buying experience possible. That is why many Viper owners end up buying their "regular" cars from Woodhouse as well - even if they live on the other side of the country. Your only problem will be that after dealing with Woodhouse, you will be disappointed in just about every other dealership from there on...
