Guys, what do you think is the best looking wing for a GTS? I know many of you don't like wings, so no need to comment, but for those of you that want a more aggressive look, post photos of GTS's with wings that you think look good. If you have multiple angles, that would be fantastic. I know wings look good on the RT/10, but I am trying to find that perfect looking wing for the GTS.

Thanks,

Manny

I like my Autoform. I get a lot of compliments on it and it is adjustable.

I'm not sure exactly sure who makes these wings but they are rather similar, the Blue/white GTS is the one of the [******] 1000 TT cars and the red/white is the official Daytona edition one off car by Dodge and PVO. I'm sure someone here will know who makes it, maybe Canaska??

Just some more wings for you to look at.

I'm have no idea who this wing is made for, strange dual place set-up, possibly custom made?

This I believe is the same wing as used on many of the Viperday racers such as the McCANN cars which are very expensive from memory!

This is the SVSi dual plane wing.

This image appeared here on the board a year or so ago and no-one was sure who made the wing. I believe it was shown at a European motorshow, maybe at a Startech stand?

Cheers, hope these help.

Those wings look great. Does anyone know if someone makes duplictes of these wings? I know one from Chrysler (GT2 wing) is really really expensive.

The thing I noticed is that on an RT/10, the rear/trunk area of the car slopes down, which makes just about any wing you stick on there look great (an improvement.) On a GTS, the rear flips upward, so adding a wing, at least to me, looks kind of strange. I'm just not sure what it is.

I guess I am trying to find that look that when I see it, I am like, "Jesus, that is it! That looks bad ass."

I can honestly say that from a frontal angle of the car, most GTS's with wings look fantastic. From the rear, I just don't like it -- doesn't seem to flow. Know what I mean?

I think the wings should be organic in shape, i.e., no hard lines, as the car is all about curves. This is why the mopar and autoform wings for the RT/10 looks so nice -- they sit right on the rear of the car (not sticking up way high) and fit the curves of the car. The SVS wing has some of these curves for a GTS, but I really don't like the two straight supports.

The very last photo listed above shows some of what I am talking about, but it's hard to tell from that photo. It is all curvy and follows the lines of the car.

The wing design I choose will be more of a poser setup (for looks) than for function, as I don't plan on road coursing the GTS (I have my other car for that.)

Manny, is this for the black car?
IMHO what's on there now (if it still is) doesn't look all that bad really, to me anyway.
Good luck in your search

I like my wing. I just want to make the sides a little more smaller. I will need to find a machine shop that can do it.

I like the wing on the road going GTS-R (you know 100 made white/blue) I think
Snake Oyl's copy looks like a very close and isn't badly priced.

I also like the Autoform having seen it in the flesh its a huge thing, but in my opinion you need a splitter, diffusers etc to help it blend in else on its own it might look strange

Hey AB, your car looks awesome in your Avatar. Do you have other photos of it you can post from various angles? You can alternately email them to me at manny(at)gigatechsoftware(dot)(com)

Thanks,

Manny

Hey, Superduper bar: the way I get my system to sound that way is the following:

3" not cats exhuast system.
Roe Simms

One of the biggest compliments I have gotten everywhere is the sound. You should hear it in person. I've tried different combo's but the one I have is the best. It's a [hennneeessy] which I think he used B&B 3 " system. I don't have a cross over section but it sounds burbly and popping sounding as you go down the road. I love it! Now when you have the windows up, the sound of the firing of the engine sound gets on my nerve at times.

Borla's sound's raspy to me and Corsa sounds too stock for me. But it's just my 02 cents! I don't have headers yet, but will go with the B&B set up I think. I think the canisters that B&B uses makes the sound!

I will make a sound file of my system. It's actually a custom job since I had to fabercate part of the system myself.

Hope this helps! Wait til next week! My car will have a whistle..shh!

Ask the ricers, they'll tell you.

Honestly the GTS lines are awesome, no need for some 6ft monstrosity like some of the wings above, but that my opinion.
