Cam I retrofit a Gen5 seat into my old Viper

Has anyone considered the Gen5 seat in a Gen1 car? Is the same Sabelt seat available without the Viper tax? I'm trying to lower the seat further than the Northwinds kit already allows.

Good lord how tall are you? I have the 2 inch seat lowering kit in my car and I'm 6'5. I have a bunch of extra headroom to spare.

Up until now I've been unable to wear a helmet under roof. Any ideas of were to find Gen5 seats or Gen5 seat-a-likes.

At VOI an Engineer said it would fit....

Be careful and check first before buying a gen5 seat. I sat in a gen5 and found the seat frame to place my buttox higher than the positioning of my buttox in my gen2.
