Had a blast today at the CAAP tour with the Viper Club ....Ontario Chapter. Got to see my baby for the first time (on the floor!!) and she is SPECTACULAR!! Looking forward now (to getting her) even more than ever!

Thanks to Graham for letting me sit in the 2013 SRT Viper he was testing...(my first time in a 2013) so I was able to see that it fits me like a glove..(all 5 ft of me!!)....

After that we went to PREFIX and got the royal tour there also!

What wonderful gracious people at both these plants....so kind of them to spend so much quality time with all of us!!

Awww Maureen. I think it's safe to say we're all looking forward to hearing your full writeup once you get her home. I remember back in 2008 the Motor City region brought me in as a guest on the factory tour. Can only imagine how it's changed.

Nope...it's in INSPECTION...so don't want to rush that..LOL!
But after that it can still take awhile to get a trailer full of vipers being delivered to the same area.

I'd love a tour of CAAP as well. Talking to a lot of the guys in the Illinois Viper Club who've been around for a while they've all gone, so I wonder if the next club scheduled tour could be a long way off. If any other club chapters plan a tour and you don't mind a tag along from Illinois I'd love to join you!

I was surprised at prefix when they told us, Viper Paint and finish is better than Ferrari and Porsche and on par with Bentley .
Makes you realize the car is in the Exotic Camp .

That's awesome you got to see your car and tour the plant. What a special treat.
I went a couple months back and really enjoyed all the artwork on the walls... especially the huge wall murals. Those are just great!

Is it just me, or does it seem like these later built vipers have better panel gaps than the earlier built cars? I've noticed in photos of recently delivered vipers and these photos from the plant, that the panel gaps seem to have been improved.
