Nothing to worry...I think we were one of the first to see the SRT-10 in Jan-2002...
Is it just me, or is the guy in the drivers seat 13 feet tall?

LOL. It all comes with time. If you spend as much time thinking about these cars as so many of us do, you'll get to know 'em as well as the 70 Challenger in no time.
So just for clarification....
Gen 1 - 1992 through 1995
Gen 2 - 1996 (intro of the GTS - Blue/White stripe coupe) through 2002
Gen 3 - 2003 through 2006 (coupe available only in 2006)
Gen 4 - 2008 through 2010 (there was no 2007)
Gen 5 - Chapter yet to be written.
That's actually the factory option for the SRT8's (like the Charger). No spare, just a can of FAF and a small compressor. Gen-IV is the same way. No place to put a spare, and nobody likes the ZP's anyway.
So is the small compressor and FAF factory parts? If so where does it get stored and secured on the vehicle.
Thanks kcobean, you been very helpful!
Maybe this subject has been addressed on the forums for the 2003 model and I should go searching?
I have an SRT8 as well, and we have factory Compressor. For the Viper, I went to Pep Boys and bought one. Knock LOTS of wood! I'm superstitious!

If you'd like, I can take a few pictures of my trunk so you can see how everything is secured in place.
But if you would like for me quote every engine available in the 70 Challenger, I am your man.
I'm another old guy that can quote all Dodge engines from the 60s and then the turbos of the 80-90s. Resto-mod guy that moved up to supercharged Vipers.
Since you mentioned engines;
Gen 1 and 2 were 8.0L or 488 cubic inches.
Gen3 was 8.3L or 500ci.
Gen 4 is 8.4L or 504ci
SilverRT, you are correct, conversion is approximately 61 c.i per liter, i.e. 61x8 = 488, and so on.
Yes if it is not too much, I would really appreciate it. I'd like to do it right.
Thanks Kelly for the pictures these are helpful Just one more question. Is the duffle bag shown in picture 2, part of the kit? What is in it. Thank again very much for taking time to shoot some pictures. I think you are right....I can add to my '03
Dang, GREAT story - I'm gonna go out right now and drive my car
PS: You look pretty fit for an "'ol guy".
Cheers!
The duffle bag is my ACR car cover. It just happened to be in the trunk so I used it for a backdrop.
