"Determined to prove the Viper could do more than drive in a straight line,"
" and swapped out the old 3.55 rear end for a new 3.07 gear set " ????
Bout time they got rid of the old 3.55 !!
From Motor Authority:
"We also learned that the Viper team hasn't taken the new snake to the Nurburgring, yet. But they expect to beat the old Viper's time without a problem when they head back to the 'Ring either in the fall or early spring next year"

True, but EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON in the World other than us Viper guys think the Viper cannot turn. They completely ignore World Championships and track records. So ridiculous, but I believe the article was reporting the perception, not saying it is true. The Viper has always been able to travel in more than a straight line? What, some 20 year old writing this copy?
Guess it goes way back when Archer put 200 lbs in the back so he could keep with Kitchak's Porsche in the turns and win?Where did the riduculous idea about Viper handling start in the first place?
That's a great interview with Ralph
