OK, Just to review:
9:00 AM Pit Area (Probably leaving at 9:30)
NYC - 34th Street & First Avenue
10:30 AM Pit Area
Dix Hills Rest Area - between exits 51 & 52 on the Long Island Expressway
11:00 AM Pit Area
McDonald's on Eastport Manor Road (Rte 111)
Take exit 70 of the Long Island Expressway
Turn right at light (Mobil Station) on Rte 111
McDonalds is on the right 1/4 mile down (you know...golden arches)
From there we will continue south on Rte 111 till it ends onto Rte 27 East.
Rte 27 East to exit 63 (Westhampton Beach)
After exit continue straight past Air Field on left, over RR tracks, then straight at traffic light intersection with Montaulk HWY.
Go straight a next traffic light intersection (Mill Road) - follow sight "To Beach".
Take second left onto Main Street (there's a turn lane).
Go straight thru town of Westhampton.
Make right turn onto Beach Lane (another sign "To Beach").
Continue over bridge to end and make left onto Dune Road.
Continue on Dune Road till end and make left into Oakland's parking lot.
11:30 - 11:45 arrival at Oakland's
OK, Just to review:

Reminder:
There's CONSIDERABLE water falling on the southbound FDR Drive between 60th and 53rd streets. If you're driving down on the Drive, remember to get off on 61st Street and take 2nd Avenue down.

Warning to All, I live out here in LI and the cops have been on double duty the past 10 days, end of month road checks for seat belts, reg's, etc, I was in the hamptons 3x in last 10 days, cops are all over the LIE and 27, never bothered me, I was cool but they had tons of folks on the side.

just got back from the hamptons few hours ago and there must of been a ferrari/maserti meet. ive seen about 2 dozen modena 360's and several maseratis. also seen couple of hundred bikers cruisin on the LIE. c u guys in the A.M
