So, this thread that you created has nothing to do with generating support for John ( Canal ? ). I am a VCA member. I believe that if people want the VCA to move forward, they need to help the present *** succeed. I don't think that it is a great idea to create a bogus thread mentioning one of the guys who appears to be striving to do the job he believes in, just to invite a lot of negative posts. Your comment quoted above shows that your only purpose was to get the reaction that you got. You definitely appear to also be the type that I do not find to be a supporter of what the VCA is trying to get back to. Inciting antagonism is NOT the way to try to get the VCA back on an even keel.

The Alley does not have an interest in the VCA's success and were only happy to point out that the VCA didn't care about it either. Hopefully things will get better. If not there may another club. That was caused by the VCA not the Alley. I hope the VCA and the Alley both remain.

The raffle was not licensed and held illegally. Even AFTER the word was out that was illegal, Lee CHOSE to have it anyway because the club didn't even have enough to pay some regions their cut from the 2013 that were paid at the beginning of the year. I honestly do feel bad for the people who bought tickets, but feel absolutely awful for the "winners".

How is this falling for bait and what did it catch you? There are a lot of Alley members who are paying VCA members as well, which you are not, ironically enough. At one time, I was a paying member myself but had issues with the VCA and quit. I think that most of us want the VCA to do well but it doesn't look like that is going to happen, so some of the people that helped found the VCA and make it great as it once was, are making another club,

Why does the Alley seem to have threads that were the catalyst for change for the VCA? Because they don't have moderation that blocks any mention of facts concerning the *** of the VCA like there was on here. Had this site not been moderated as if it were run by Kim Jong Il, you would have seen the same information here.

I tend to agree but I understand Wanted's frustration. Wanted does make an interesting observation. Until very recently a number of the people who are the principals standing up the new proposed VOA or VOC ( whatever name it ends up being) were on the VCA National Board. Those people did have access to the same data as any other Board member whether they used that access or not. So, Wanted's point about people asking them for answers to some of their specific data based questions seems logical. At the same time, one might ask why a quiet, private coordinated threat to secede from the VCA was not made to motivate the changes needed. I would be very interested to read an explanation for that not occurring.
